Rechargeable battery charger and tester
Works great and very accurate, love it, will save you a lot of money with recharging batteries vs. buying new ones

Great charger Bad tester
Good charger but slow to test batteries. It charges batteries great. Gives useful information while charging.I bought it solely to check 18650 batteries. The test took to long to finish. I still had to charge the batteries after the check too.So, I had to return this item back.

Only one discharge slot
This unit is good for charging batteries but if you have NiCad batteries you should know that only one slot supports discharge. Other than that, my first unit was DOA, second worked great and has given me no issues. Does about what I expect at this price point.

Great little charger
Simple to use, works great, will not charge more than 2 D cell battery's at one time due to the size of a D cell, I just charge 2 and when charged up, pull them from charger and put the other 2 battery's in, and all is good

Update: EBL - Great Customer Service
UPDATE:EBL was very quick to correct the issues.Very pleased with their customer service and their diligence in correcting the issue.High respect.Other companies and sellers need to take notice.-----------------------------------------Original ReviewI got this charger and also ordered a pack of 20 EBL NiMh batteries (10 AAA and 10 AA batteries). All testing with the EBL batteries was done on the EBL Battery charger with testing functions. Then I tested the batteries on my expensive (other brand) battery tester/chargers for comparison. The charging results were within 5% between the two chargers/testers when charging to full. Both chargers showed that the batteries were close to the rated capacity for charging.Several batteries seemed weak from the start.Got one AAA that is very weak even after a few cycles.Got one AAA that is weak, but is slightly better after a few cycles.Got two AA that are weak even after a few cycles.Got one AA that is not performing quite as well as the others. All other batteries tested at or within a few mAh of the rated capacity.Under load of 500mAh, the EBL charger/tester still showed rated capacity; lasted about as long as expected for the mAh rating for each battery. On my expensive tester, the load results were different. At 500mAh load, the batteries in question lasted about half as long.Further testing to verify.I have a single AA and a single AAA flashlight.I tested a good AAA and a good AA battery in these lights and then one each of the weak batteries. The weak batteries did not last even half as long.So essentially I received a questionable charger/tester and 8 AAA and 7 AA that are good and 5 weak batteries that I can not trust.I will be looking to find a brand with more consistent QC; and I am questioning the reliability and truthfulness of the EBL charger/tester results.

Nice Charger
This works great. I have all sorts of rechargeable batteries, NiMh AAs and AAAs, 18650, 21700, this does them all. I even tested some questionable 18650s and found their capacity was very low; I knew they didn't behave well, but didn't know how terrible they were. With a 3A USB charging block, I was able to get 2 Amps on slots 1 and 4, or 1 amp on all four if the batteries could take it (like 18650s. This isn't rated for the EBL Li Ion AAs, so I had to get their 4 slot charger just for them, but it was inexpensive Currently Unavailable?

Charger Does Not Operate Safely
I purchased 2 of these battery charging units and the following review was my experience with this product. I was charging 4 AAA 1.2 volt 600 MAH Capacity Ni-MH batteries in bays 1, 2, 3, and 4 at the chargers standard default setting levels. The battery in bay 4 reached 100% charge in what seemed like a reasonable amount of time. The batteries in bays 1, 2 and 3 were at 93% charge but yet were taking substantially longer to reach the full charge level. The charger was on my kitchen island table with plenty of ventilation and air flow. Then as I was looking down at the chargers display unit window I heard a slight whistle sound and the battery in bay 3 had exploded with an extremely loud pop noise and had launched out of the charger bay and had landed on the table about 8" from the charging unit. I was lucky not to become injured when this occurred. The product description says there are safety design features within the charger to prevent something like this from happening. I would say this product has the capability to injure the user and or create a possible fire hazard. I would NOT recommend purchasing this product. I am going to contact the seller/manufacturer and explain what happened here and then return the item to Amazon for a full refund. I will update this review if more information is fed back to me from the seller or manufacturer.
