Beautiful pasta spoon! Beautiful wood. Well made. 5stars because the manufacturer refrained from engraving its name on the utensil, which so cheapens the item. I just refuse to buy logo emblazoned items.

Trying to get away from plastic. This works very well

I had a pasta spoon that was plastic and somehow the prongs broke off. We were using it for what felt like forever before I decided to treat myself to this spoon. I am so happy I did! It is made of very nice wood that doesn't get all dried out like other wooden spoons do. The finish on it is really pretty. The best part is how easily it picks up and holds the pasta when you are serving it. I was afraid from the design that it may not hold the pasta correctly but I was proven wrong. I love this pasta spoon!

After receiving this product I hand washed it then dried it with a towel. I noticed a lot of black residue on the towel after doing that as well as on my fingers. I washed it again and used a paper towel to dry it and more black residue came off. I don’t know if it’s paint or what, but this does not seem safe for handling food. I’ve never had a kitchen utensil have a shoddy paint coating like this.Also, the way the product is cut the edges of the prongs that stick out are quite sharp and it’s pretty uncomfortable to hand wash without a rubber glove.I’ll be returning this and will look for another product that doesn’t have these issues.

Great quality. Beautifully made. Works great and is comfortable. I lay it over the pot while cooking pasta to keep the water from boiling over and it doesn’t mess with the wood.

The pasta spoon is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It is a great weight and sanded beautifully. Make sure you wash it really well, though. I *thought* I washed it well, but there was still a lot of residual stain in between the tines when I towel dried it.

This pasta spoon is perfect. The wood is solid and looks durable. It has a good weight to it, and gives me the hope that this spoon will last me a good while. I’m excited to use it

I unboxed the product and was inspecting it, I ran my finger in between the tines and noticed they were covered in a black, soot-like, residue. The inside edges of the tines are black, I think it was intended stylistically. If you sniff the product, it smells of burnt wood. This may explain why, in a previous review of the item, it turned their pasta water brown. It may be a great product after being washed, but definitely an unsettling first impression.
