This replacement remote works well. The slightly strange thing is that it doesn't have an "F" Freeview button, unlike the Manhattan original remote; however, Freeview can be accessed by going to channel 100. The feel of the buttons is not quite a smooth as on the original, but they work fine. The battery compartment on the back is a little more difficult to close securely, but again it just takes a little fiddling.The general placing of the buttons is very similar to the Manhattan remote, a few of the buttons are just transposed.All in all, I'd say I was very satisfied with this replacement remote.I hope this, and my photos, are helpful.

This generic control has all the same button set-ups as the original Manhattan remote, the only cosmetic difference being the appearance of the 2 menu buttons (the functions are unchanged). The button response feel very similar to the original remote.This replacement remote worked straight away for me without any set-up being required and seems to have no issues with any function I've tried so far (turning on/off, channel changes, TV Guide options, setting a program to record etc).The Amazon list says it is compatible "with the T2-R and more" and I can conform it works with the T3-R model too. At just under £10, it's competitively priced.

I have one of these remotes to control the satellite box in the cottage our family rents out to tourists, and because people treat remotes roughly I often have to supply replacements. This is an ideal replacement if you have this make and model of satellite box and does exactly what it says on the tin! No setup needed, batteries not included. A perfect solution to a frequent problem!
