*update*: only buy if you live in Europe. Will not work in the United States. We received our first copy and tried it in out Sony bluray player, didn't work. Then tried it in our PS3, didn't work. Tried it in both of our laptops, didn't work. Tried to play it with our parents' bluray player, didn't work!We sent it back to exchange and just received our second copy. Tried it in all the above and it still doesn't work. Not sure why?? It looks like a legit disc and case. Just doesn't play. Will be returning it for good. Bummer

If this was a rugby tour, where was the rugby?
I should have guessed what I would be getting when the dvd arrived still sealed, and it was very cheap. From the dreadful pun of the title to the hours of inane chat, this was probably the worst sport video I have ever seen, and it has been my misfortune to see a few. The 2013 Lions tour was quite controversial - Warren Gatland picked a Welsh-heavy squad in the first place, and the man of the series - Alex Corbisiero, for me - wasn't even originally picked for the squad. What we were exposed to was relentless pep talks from the coaching staff, employing a barrage of cliches and portentous orchestral muzak, and very little rugby. When it comes to rugby, Sky and ITV have always lagged behind the production values of the BBC, who would have made a much better fist of this. For any budding sports video directors here are a couple of hints - if the time spent on chat in the video is even half the amount of playing action, start again: and remember, sportsmen aren't "Heroes", they're just ordinary people who are lucky to be well-paid for what they do well, and winning or losing a match isn't the end of the world.

Worth the Wait!!!
Like most people, I could not wait for this release after the tour ended in July. The DVD doesnt dissappoint. The way it is done is slightly different from the 1997 version but it does not lose any of the delights that all the tour DVDs have. The final scene with the music backdrop to the second-half of the 3rd Test is worth the money alone. Please never stop the Lions Tour documentaries!!!

Captures the memories of a great tour
I well remember all those early mornings last summer watching the Lions in Oz. The BBQ was well used and we enjoyed a fantastically gripping series. If you enjoyed that then this is for you. All the games are featured along with a whole raft of behind the scenes footage of a historic tour.
