Miffy at the Gallery

Who could not love Miffy and all the Miffy books. This one is a particular favourite. They are all - bar one - a great read. The first Miffy book is rather gender specific - but it was originally published many years ago when things were different. Treat yourself to the box set - you will never have a dull moment

I bought this as a Birthday gift for my 3 year old. He loved the simple story and pictures and he is now keen to go to an art gallery with me again. I think we might take this lovely little book along on our next trip.

We bought this for our daughter when she was 2 1/2, and by the age of 3, she has read it 100's of times and loves it. A great little story, lovely rhymes, and gets kids thinking about art. Perfect x

Some of the translations into english are 'clunky' and do not rhyme in Australian, American or British english..... otherwise a fabulous childrens' classic.

My grandson already loves the Dick Bruma stories handed down from his father and aunt so I am sure he will love this one too.

Lovely rhythmical read. Makes it enjoyable to read. Children thoroughly enjoy the Dick Bruna books. A must on the bookshelf.

This book is really nice. The story is well written and illustrated. Makes small children want to go to the Gallery. The works of art are inspired by those of real artists (Mondrian, Klein, Magritte etc.) and my child loves itCe livre est très sympatique. L'histoire est bien écrite et joliment illustrée. Sehr schöne Bilder. Sehr farbenfroh. Aber extrem schlechte Übersetzung. Katastrophale grammatikalische Fehler. Satzbau in der direkten Rede wie Kraut und Rüben!

Fun little book. My grandchildren were impressed they had a book to go with their poster.
