I was looking for something comfortable that I could lounge around in— not too heavy, not too lightweight, not too fancy, not too short— and this caftan is perfect! The material is light and comfortable even in this summer heat; though I purchased it in black it’s not see-through; the optional tie at the waist adds a nice touch so it doesn’t look like a tent, lol… I’m 5’9”, 180lbs with long legs and this caftan hits below my ankle so I was surprised since long enough is always an issue.Great price, quality item. Get one!

This caftan is beautiful. It fits perfectly. I only have a problem with the finishing on where the string is. It’s not properly finished. I have a feeling that the tread will pull out. Apart from that everything is great.

This is very nice for lounging or as a pool coverup. I am 5'5" and weigh 150lbs. I ordered a medium and when the tie under the breast is pulled it looks great. It slightly touches the ground when I am barefooted, so I am hoping it will shrink slightly when I wash it. It should be find with shoes on. No wrinkles so I think it will travel well.

I ordered 6 items from Riviera Sun, and all but this one smelled funny and didn't fit right. Of the 5 that didn't fit right, one was fine on the bottom, but too small on top, and 4 were too small. This one fits right - even a bit large. For this reason, although this item is fine, I do not recommend this brand.Also, all 6 items smelled weird - a bit chemically. Some more than others. This item smelled less weird than the other items. I will wash it before I wear it and hope the smell comes out in the wash.I bought this for wearing around the house, so the less-than-good-quality of the product does not bother me, especially at this price.Update: I ordered another one in the navy. It fits, but it fits differently than the 1st one I ordered (in black). So, quality control is clearly an issue. Also, the navy blue one has little gold "studs" around the neck and on the center pattern. They drive me crazy! I find them scratchy and annoying. They are also NOT in the photo. I am down-grading this item from a 4-star review to a 3-star review, b/c these studs are not mentioned anywhere.Despite it's lees-than-supererior workmanship, both caftans have (perhaps suprisingly) held up well through over a year's worth of almost weekly washings. I do let them air dry.

The material is so thin and flimsy it does not drape, you move it binds to your legs and sticks to the torso. I knew it was too thin but made the mistake of not returning it, I thought well, give it a chance and wear it and see, maybe it will be comfortable in the heat. It's too tight in some places and too large and long in others. It doesn't hang, it doesn't drape, it has no shape, it sticks to the body like tissue paper, it binds up, and it was a total waste of money. It is so cheap and thin I can't even in good conscience donate it to a charity.

Love the material, color and flowing style! Very comfortable. Washes well on delicate in washing machine and hang to dry quickly!

It’s so comfortable and beautiful, loose and flowing. I really like the drawstring waist and the material is so light. I have issues with getting too hot and this is perfect for me. I just placed another order for some dresses.

This caftan is. Dry light but not see through. It is so handy to slip,on in a hurry or wear it lounging aroundThere are “diamonds” integrated in the weave in a pattern. I am buying more for friends who live in warmer climatesThe best feature is that it is very very thin material but not see through
