Q: Are the brushes supposed to lock in place? First time use, it falls off. I tried to “lock it in place” but nothing is working.

Yes, you turn the brush head and it should lock into place. To unlock it, press the small button and then turn brush head in opposite direction.

Q: can this be used with adaptors for travel?

I think it can, but for only short periods of time. Due to the fact that Europe has 220v instead of 110v. & even though you use an adapter I would just feel comfortable using for a short time. Be sure & buy a good quality adapter.

Q: What is the glove used for?

I’ve owned this product for over a year and have never needed the glove. I think it’s to protect your hand from heat, but I use the highest setting and have never needed to protect my hands.
