This aquarium light is great for small tanks. Since it's made with what appears to be a plastic shell, it is sturdy enough for small tanks and provides decent brightness. The plastic construction wouldn't be good for a large aquarium so it's a good thing they don't offer it. Great brand and at this point, I've used many of their other products as well and each one is a winner!

I wanted to try out some more economical options for lighting a small aquarium, cause fish keeping is an expensive hobby. I was impressed with this light for the price. obviously, it's nothing compared to my expensive grow lights and marine lights, but it's bright, it has a decent range of settings and overall looks great on one of my little guppy tanks.I'd recommend this product for a small budget tank, or someone new to the hobby. but I know, I probably will be upgrading it at some point.

Works good

It's a nice set of lights. I like that when using the 24 hour setting, I can update it to stay dimmer. Using it at full blast for my minimally planted tank is just a recipe for a huge algae explosion. So I keep it at the dimmest daytime setting, and then let it do its thing for the night time setting. But I wish that I could put this on an actual timer to only come on for about 4 hours per day rather than all day. It's still a lot more algae than I would prefer to deal with due to the amount of light it puts out. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. It is either on with the 24 hour setting, or you can manually turn it on/off, or it's off. If a power outage occurs (happens a lot here), I have to start it over with the 24 hour settings. It does not come back on automatically. Anyhow, it works fine. But I would probably get something different next time to better suit my needs.

This light is super bright and works great.

I have several 24/7 aquarium lights and this one was by far the most confusing to get started. It's working now, but I'm still not entirely sure how I got it going.

Got this for an extra tank I use to grow fish tank plants in an area of my house that doesnt get direct light at all, and so far its done really well.Setting up the timer was very easy and the brightness has been fantastic, with no need to adjust or reset it since I originally set it up.Very similar design to another one I ordered a year ago, so it seems to be on par with aquarium lights that are more expensive. Quality is good, as I had no poor quality or unfinished bits on mine that I could see or noticed while setting it up initially.Overall im pretty pleased with this light; it was a good bang for the buck and has held up for almost a month with zero issues for me. If, for any reason, that changes, I will return to this post to update it about what happens.I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to update an older tank to LED or anyone looking to have some decent light for their tank in general. So far for me, its been worth every penny.

I like this LED bar. It has several levels of brightness, adjustable lighting "moods" for morning, daytime, evening, and night. The timer function allows it to cycle through a normal day, with morning brightness, then day, followed by evening and finally off for the night to let the fish sleep. I like this idea. Setting the timing up was a minor challenge but the included instructions helped a lot and I finally got it right. I had pretty good lights on my tank prior, they werent cheap at all, but they didnt have a timer function like this one. I have to say the color and tone of these lights is better for sure. If you want your aquatic setup to have a good lighting routine to mimic natural day / night, then this will definitely fit the bill.
