Delivers as Promised +
5 star rating doesnβt tell the whole story. The nut is heavier than the original and makes it easy to torque.

Got hot water again!!!
For my 2005 Holiday Rambler presidential i was able to climb thru the cargo door next to the hot water heater and remove a plastic panel for access to the rear of the hot water heater to remove the element. Takes a 1 1/2 inch socket and even with that, it was a bear to remove. But worked great after replacement. The element is located on the lower rear portion of the hot water heater. If you unlucky and can't get to the rear without complete removal, I totally feel sorry for you as there are a lot of hoses you can't see. Youtube has video's of how to remove this hot water heater , if there is no access like mine had.

Exact replacement for my motorhome gas/electric Atwood hot water heater.
The old element is an absolute bear to get out of the heater as located under the sink in my Class A motorhome with little room to work....I gave up for now and replace it when I have more energy....

What you need if the power is turned on without water
I bought a used Class A motor home and the hotwater tank did not heat water with electric power. When I removed the old water heater element, it was melted in half. Power must have been left on without water in the tank. The replacement works great and the cold winters in Northern Nevada does not affect the output, unless my wife uses too much water to shower and then we have propane backup.

Perfect replacement. Quality
OEM part. Just bought this one as a spare. Replaced it in 2011. Full time RV'r here so they last. Make sure you are doing a 12-24 hour soak with 1/2 vinegar and water with the unit energized and then flush out well. This will prolong the years of use from your HW heater. Just my 2 cents

Tight fit
This element was to replace one in an Atwood water heater. It's on the back of the heater and was a challenge to remove the old one and install the new one because of space limitations. There was only about 3 inches between the end of the element and the steel that encloses the heater. The element works great.
