I only bought this item because it incuded a spline, and that's it. The spline is thin, though, so it is essentially useless. Keep your used spline. The screen mesh is very fragile and arrived folded and wrinkled, but with a little bit of stretching, the creases are hardly noticeable.

I'm genuinely delighted with this screen replacement kit! it gave my patio screen door a fresh lease of life. The mesh's quality is truly impressive, and the tool provided was a game-changer for adjustments. The liner seemed a tad thin. All in all, a fantastic solution that's both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

Ordered this to redo the patio screen door. Spline was too small, when my husband was trying to install it, it stretched the screen and basically ruined it. Screen came folded, I rolled it to try and get the creases out before using it. There are better options available.

This Window Screen Mesh is folded up a number of times.So, I had to unfold it, then placed a large piece of thick cardboard over it, then placed books on top of that. I left it this way for 1+ weeks to try to remove as much of the creases as I could. Unfortunately, a couple of areas of the screen still had heavy creases.I used this to cover an old window screen that had holes, but was still usable (and which I did not want to remove).Once I placed this new window screen mesh over the old screen, I liked that it kept out most types of pests. A few tiny pests got through, as they hovered around the inside of the window. But, otherwise, it's worked fine.More than adequate air gets through, as I stand by the window and can feel the cool breeze.Overall, the creases did not make the window screen mesh look as smooth as I'd like, once I placed it on my window; but, the screen did cover the holes of the original screen.

Like other reviewers have stated, the screen in this kit came folded instead of rolled. There were large creases that were difficult to get out. It ended up working out by strategically pulling the screen in different directors and securing but parts were not easy. The spine that it came with was too small for my window so I ended up reusing the old spine from the window. Worked fine but may not be an option for everyone. The tools worked well.

This product had severe fold line which could not be removed or stretched out. Pipping was not as advertised. Used same info from previous purchase and not even close. Waisted my money.

I used this to fix some window screens that my cats have poked holes in and it worked very good. I previously purchased a roll of screen that was designed to keep cats from tearing it easily and this feels like the same material just a little more sturdy. It installed just as easy/difficult as all the other screen material I have used over the years. I will purchase this again as I like the price and the quality.

The product came folded several times and needless to say it was nearly impossible to stretch it to get the creases out and now it looks worse than the one I replaced. Don’t buy!
