Tasty meals for camping
The meals are delicious and easy to prepare, just heat in hot water and enjoy. While not the optimum choice for saving weight in your pack, they are perfect for when you know you are not going far, or just want a good meal.

Good food
Perfect for light travel and backpacking! The quality of the food is fresh. The portion size is perfect as well, enough to sustain you when you’re hiking. Easy to open, good packaging. The price is reasonable for the quantity and quality.

Tastes good, but heavy.
When they tell you it's not freeze dried, that means it has the water already in it. Think grocery store canned soup, but in a pouch. So I think these are too heavy for long term hiking, but I think it would be ok for day trips or 1-2 nights in conjunction with lighter foods.The flavor was very good. While it was best hot, you could do it cold. The beef stew is very meaty, much more so than equivalent canned soups from the grocery store. It says good for 2 years, there was 18 months left on my example.If you're a car/RV/ATV/motorcycle camper, or are just storing at home for disasters and storms or in a situation where the weight doesn't matter, I think these are great. For hiking, I'd carry one for a day hike lunch but would not rely on these for long distances.

It’s healthy
Not freeze-dried, short expiration date.I have had a few pouches as first impression was bad.Taste best if you boil in the pouch.One serving per bag and it’s not overly filling.Flavor is decent (just add hot sauce) .23 grams of protein, calcium, iron, potassium and the sodium is lower. This is a healthy alternative to most camping foods.

Date expires is in 3 months!!
I got this product for it said it had a two-year shelf life but when received, it expired in three months! I have not eating it to find out if it even taste any good. And says I can’t return it!!!

Tastes really good actually - first review
The Chickpea one is fantastic. It has carrots, potatoes, tomatoes and of course, chickpeas. Tastes great. Portion size is small, and maybe too expensive for some customers. However, it tastes good. Make sure you serve it hot.The Beef Ragu sause one is good too, but the chickpea one was better.I took a chance on this product because I needed 2 day delivery. There were 0 reviews when I purchased. I am happy I took a chance on this product.
