Darn Tough VermontMen's Merino Wool Westerner Over-the-Calf Light Cushion Socks

I have worn these socks for years in all environments and they're an absolutely irreplaceable component of my wardrobe. They've kept me comfortable and focused on non-sock things in environments spanning from hunting the Canadian Rockies on horseback, hiking Sequoia and Acadia, and the regular office days at work. They're the best cowboy boot socks I've ever worn, but don't be afraid to don these under your favorite sandal, if you're into that sort of thing.There's no annoying seam to dig into toes. They're the perfect height to stay over-the-calf without bunching up behind my knee. My feet never sweat in these, even in mid-summer. They're just awesome socks. And if, like me, your everyday wear eventually destroys all of your clothing, these are one of the few things you can send back to Darn Tough and they'll give you a gift card to replace them for free. What more could you ask for in a pair of socks?

Absolutely hands down the best sock on the market!!! I am a hunter, fisherman, and hiker in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have tried many different socks, and these socks are positively the best socks I have ever worn. I also use them everyday for work. I tried these and immediately noticed my legs felt a lot better with circulation, my socks didn't stink, and they wear excellent, true to fit sizing. Darn Tough even backs their products with replacement if the socks wear out, wow. I am going to fill my sock drawer with these and toss my other brands. I just bought 3 pair of OTC style sock. Never had a sock like this. I put a pair on and walked in new cowboy boots for about 8 hours. Christmas shopping. Excellent fit and comfort. I'm a size 8.5, bought the size 9's. Perfect fit and they didn't move down my leg ... not even an inch! Super comfortable.Buying more of these wonderful newly found socks.

The socks are nice and warm and well made. They stay up on the calf and don't slip down after wearing them all day.

Wore less than 5x, already has a large hole. Poor quality

These are some of the best mid-weight socks I've ever purchased. Although they are a bit much for one pair of socks, because they are over the calf I'm sure that's part of the increase in price. Regardless, these are warm, stay up over my calves very well without being too restrictive or too sloppy. I also like that they're not thin like a dress sock or too heavy like some others, a perfect winter sock!
