Just received the keyboard today and the keyboard is amazing. The best stock-sounding keyboard on the market.

I like everything, keycaps, switches, and a case. Looks premium. But, unfortunately, my keyboard just didn't work, so I had to return it. And 1 keycap was defected.

Sospecho que tiene una muy buena relación calidad precio. Al principio estaba dudando si valía el dinero que gasté, incluso de oferta. Sin embargo lo vale, y tengo la impresión que es poco dinero comparando con los otros teclados siquiera similares de la competencia. Tiene un diseño atemporal incluso a pesar del logo en el imán que cubre el doble USB de señal 2.4g. El tecleo tiene un ruido muy agradable, no es algo insoportable pero se hace notar y la fuerza necesaria para teclear es la justa para ser cómodo sin resultar blando. Los keycaps son de muy buena calidad. Se ha vuelto mi teclado principal y ya me he pedido el teclado numérico que le acompaña.

Sono davvero rimasto sorpreso dalla qualità di questa tastiera così come esce dalla fabbrica. Andando per ordine, la Cidoo V65 V2 è una tastiera 65%, cioè con freccette, qualche tasto aggiuntivo (in questo caso del, pg su e pg giù), e con l'aggiunta di una rotella con il click. Preferisco dividere la recensione in più sezioni per facilitare la lettura e andare al dunque: Costruzione generale: La V65 ha una scocca in alluminio CNC color beige vintage, che racchiude "a panino", cioè con delle guarnizioni, tutta la serie di PCB, placca (in policarbonato) switch e compagnia bella. Ciò la rende molto solida, e anche molto pesante, con 1.7Kg di peso circa, che non la fa muovere dal tavolo nemmeno provandoci. Dentro sono presenti varie spugne, una in Poron sul fondo, una sotto al PCB e una tra PCB e plate. In questo modo, i suoni e le risonanze aggiuntive vengono assorbiti, facendola suonare bene ma non troppo ovattata. L'alluminio della scocca è di ottima qualità, pitturato anche dentro, e non me lo sarei aspettato per 130 euro. PCB: Il PCB monta LED RGB e degli slot hotswap Kailh. L'hotswap non è altro che la possibilità di mettere e togliere gli switch senza dover dissaldare e risaldare, e a differenza di altre tastiere economiche che usano quelli Gateron o peggio, senza marca, quelli Kailh sono più di qualità e con più rimozioni e aggiunte di switch prima di una "rottura" nelle specifiche. Tasti: I tasti sono tasti con profilo Cherry, spessi circa 1.6-1.7mm in PBT a sublimazione, ovvero che hanno le legende stampate a pressione e calore. Non sono spessi o "duraturi" quanto i tasti doubleshot (due plastiche fuse assieme), ma considerato che le tastiere vintage di 30+ anni con questa procedura non hanno ancora perso la legenda, posso dire che dureranno abbastanza. Switch: Gli switch che monta sono dei Quark/Quake matte lineari lubrificati di fabbrica, con stelo circondato da bordi aggiuntivi di plastica (che tengono fuori la polvere dallo switch). Sono sostanzialmente l'equivalente degli Epomaker Flamingo, anche loro prodotti da Haimu, da circa 50-55g con molla a doppio strato. L'unica differenza tra questi e i Flamingo è il fatto che questi hanno uno spazio per montare un diffusore di luce (inclusi nella confezione con qualche pezzo extra per sicurezza). Posso dire che, da ex utente di Gateron Yellow, sono fantastici sia di peso, che di stabilità tasti (infatti ballano poco e niente) e anche di suono. Stabilizzatori: Cosa sono gli stabilizzatori? Sono quei pezzi aggiuntivi che tengono dritto un tasto lungo, come barra spaziatrice, shift ecc. In questa tastiera sono lubrificati di fabbrica e plate-mounted, fanno un po' di suoni acuti e non sono lubrificati perfettamente, ma tutto sommato è facile risolvere senza nemmeno smontarli, basta usare una siringa e un po' di lubrificante a scelta. Connettività (Bluetooth): La tastiera supporta due metodi di connessione: Cablata, e Bluetooth. In entrambi i metodi ha il NKRO, che significa che non c'è limite di tasti premuti, e mi hanno meravigliato le prestazioni in BT considerando che è racchiusa in una scocca di metallo. Il BT infatti riesce a prendere anche dall'altra parte della stanza, senza perdere o ritardare mai un input. La batteria dura a seconda di come viene usata la tastiera. Su questa V2 è possibile usare i LED in modalità Bluetooth, ma ne risentirà in durata batteria. Per il resto è quasi una settimana che la uso in BT a LED spenti e ancora dura tranquillamente. Funzionalità aggiuntive e Software: Cidoo dichiara che la tastiera supporta VIA. Cos'è VIA? È uno strumento che permette, anche da browser senza installazione, di cambiare la funzionalità di qualsiasi tasto in ciò che si vuole, potenziometro incluso. A differenza delle tastiere Epomaker che usano il loro software, qui il potenziometro può essere davvero rimappato a tutto. Usando attrezzatura audio a parte, non mi serviva la funzionalità predefinita di volume giù e volume su, quindi ho cambiato la rotazione del potenziometro in rotella mouse sx/dx, visto che per il mio caso d'uso mi serve quasi sempre. Per il resto, il click l'ho lasciato uguale e ho aggiunto qualche funzione extra allo strato funzione (ne ha ben 3 belli mappabili anche loro) Conclusione: Per 130 euro non si trova nulla di simile già completo e con questa qualità. La cosa più bella è avere un kit con tutto già pronto per chi non ha voglia di mettere mano, e che allo stesso tempo dà possibilità di aggiungere, modificare e migliorare ulteriormente la tastiera per chi è dell'hobby.

Ik ben zeer content met dit toetsenbord. De bouwkwaliteit is echt premium, het geluid is top, het doet me denken aan mijn oude toetsenbord uit de jaren 90' en dat past helemaal. De rechter shift is rood, waarom ze de 'enter' niet rood hebben gemaakt is vrij bizar want dat is de toets die je oog zou moeten aantrekken. Geen probleem natuurlijk als je toch niet naar je toestenbord kijkt als je typt. Het is een duidelijke esthetische afweging geweest. Uitgetest op Windows, zowel bedraad als met dongel werkt alles supervlot. BT nog niet getest. Niet belangrijk voor mij, dus 5 sterren maar ik geen het graag mee. De VIA support kan je regelen met JSON files die je op EPOMAKER website kan downloaden maar die werken toch ook niet zonder problemen. Dus als dat een dealbreaker is, dan kan je beter verder zoeken.

I really like this keyboard. It is very satisfying to type on it. It is very customizable, but the default configuration is already pretty good for my use case. The bluetooth works really well and, when also using the usb cable, I can easily switch between three different computers running three different OSs (Windows, MacOS, and Linux). Never had any major connectivity problem.

I don't spend the time to review my purchases unless a product earns it. What I mean is, if the product is good enough to warrant my time, I break out the marathon review to encourage everyone else to pick one up for themselves. Conversely, if a product earns it in the other direction, I'll roast it like a Thanksgiving turkey... and this one? It stormed the gates and planted the flag in 5 star territory and sits back encouraging all challengers to step forth and try and take the title. The CIDOO (Epomaker) V87 is that keyboard- the one I tell other boards to live up to before I toss them back in the drawer. I've owned and reviewed a serious number of mechanical keyboards. This is the best of the best. Period. Let's talk build. The CNC aluminum body on this thing is a slab of perfection. Dense, smooth, flawlessly finished, and it gives you that reassuring sense of permanence the moment it lands on your desk. The gasket-mounted design combined with the "poran" foam gives it a quiet, shock-absorbing bottom-out that feels tuned by people who actually type. You don't just get keystroke quality here. You get keystroke authority. Functionally, it's a triple-threat: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired USB-C. All three modes are reliable and easy to switch between. Battery life holds strong even under heavy use, and the rotary knob has the right resistance with no wobble- unlike cheaper knobs that feel like loose dials on a toy radio. I absolutely love the hidden space behind the cat head to hold the dongle when not in the computer. It's just cool, though not sure where the cat comes from, maybe CIDOO means big cat in some language that escapes me. Maybe the cat is just a symbol for stealth and yep, the space underneath the cat after you slide it out oozes stealth. The south-facing RGB is vibrant without bleeding into absurdity. Finally, someone got it right. A south facing RGB with retro style key caps that don't look stupid. Sure, shinethrough might be having a moment but I would abhor shinetrhough on this moderized throwback style. This is perfect, just the way it comes. Now. Is VIA support everything it could be? No. I'd be lying if I said it was as effortless or deep as I would like. But it works, and once you map the board how you like, it stays put. This minor software friction is the only thing that doesn’t scream luxury. Still, the overall package is so elite that not even that can knock a star off. You could spend twice as much on boutique builds and even 3x on some exc essively curated custom parts and not get close to this out-of-the-box experience. If you care about sound, feel, connectivity, and build- and you don't want to build your own from scratch- this is where your money belongs. Pros: All-metal chassis feels sturdy, no... it's elite! Gasket mount with poran foam delivers deep thock and comfort South-facing LEDs avoid interference and look clean Triple-mode wireless is rock solid Rotary knob is smooth and secure Sound profile is tuned and satisfying Cons: VIA support feels underwhelming Slight learning curve on initial keymap setup Hot Take: I've used dozens, if not hundreds of boards and most never make it to review. Yes, I said hundreds. I have a keyboard problem that I'm not happy about. That said, the CIDOO V87 is not one part of that problem, it's actually a the solution. Get this and you don't need anything else. Problem solved. It gets the full write-up and a standing ovation. It's not just premium- it's top of class awesome. You want better? Start soldering, because nothing off the shelf beats this beast.
