Worked! Just needed to do an extra step
Worked for my 2015 Alienware Alpha! Thanks everyone for the tips in the comments. In case this wasn't already mentioned, I had to hold the power button for 60 seconds AFTER putting the new battery in. I even did it twice I think. Before that it kept doing the 5 orange lights. Then it worked.
