Did not use for onions
I bought these to make my own hackle. Hackles are around Β£200 to buy so made my own with wood I owned and these and it works brilliantly. Note they are needle sharp and you need a leather cover if you decide to try and make your own hackle. Used as a fleece/wool spinning tool.
