Kids love it
I'm not sure why kids like such strange candy options, but they do and this liquid sour candy is no different. I have to be careful because the design makes it a little easy to make a mess with but the kids love it.

Skull Candy
My kids love the "Slime Licker" candy so I thought they would really like these but these were just a miss for my kids. The packaging is cute and it comes with a little scoop spoon. It definitely would make a good favor for a Halloween party. It comes in 3 flavors but to be honest....these are just glorified corn syrup. Its just corn syrup a little flavoring and food coloring. They weren't even sour. There is nothing special about these and my kids didn't like them. They were just too sweet and the consistency was just blech...we will probably end up handing these out to trick or treaters.

Slimy, Spooky Halloween Candy to Eat with a Sour Delight
It's sour and slimy, but even so the kids loved checking out the skull candy. This would be perfect for a Halloween party or to have a fun treat when you are looking for something different. The candy slime tasted sour (as expected) but it also had a great sweet taste to it. To make sure the slime actually gets to your mouth, a spoon is included (and you will need it for sure). The different colors are different flavors, which is good as the kids will be excited to get their favorite color with the treat inside.Overall I think this is a fun Halloween treat. It needs to be eaten outside or someplace where there is no carpet. Don't be surprised if the kids want to keep the skull. We just washed our skulls out and they have it in their rooms as a decoration. This candy skull is definitely perfect for a small party or for the family. However, the candy skull is too big for giving away at the door or offer at a larger party.

Sticky Sweet Sour Candy
The liquid candies arrived in a box, pretty firmly secured. There are three flavors, 4 of each: strawberry, blueberry and apple. The container is pretty neat, it is in a really cool skull shape, transparent with a colored brain lid. Each serving has a little plastic spoon with it, making it ready to eat on the go. Each candy has a freshness seal, which we love to see, and the spoon is plastic wrapped to the container, so it’s not likely to fall off until you’re ready to open it.Opening the candy, you find the slime is pretty viscous! It has a very similar consistency to honey! The texture is very sticky as well, as peeling off the freshness seal, I got a bit on my fingers and immediately felt it. I would be extremely careful while eating this, as I can already see it can be pretty messy if you spill it.The flavor comes through with sourness followed by its flavor. The sourness isn’t that sour, the flavor comes through pretty sweet though. Each container has so much candy, I can’t imagine anyone finishing this in a sitting, luckily the skull cap can reseal the candy for later consumption. Would of love to have some way to put away the spoon for later use. This will definitely be a favorite amongst kids.

I got the skulls
First off, these skulls are some of the coolest looking candy containers ever. The liquid is pretty and if you could rig up lights underneath, these would make fantastic decorations. The picture included does not do justice to how cool these look.As for the gel sour candy, it's not great. I didn't find it unbearably sour. It's syrupy and thick. Blue is raspberry, red is strawberry, green is apple. They don't necessarily taste like the fruits advertised and I wouldn't expect them to be honest. There's a little spoon attached to each skull. I couldn't imagine eating an entire skull at once. This isn't the kind of thing I would give to kids if I had any. As an adult, it's not a treat I enjoy but since it was offered on Vine, I wanted to give it a try. Not for me, other people might enjoy this depending on their candy preferences. They definitely look far better than they taste.

Hard pass - little flavor, just one taste made me feel ill
First off, these are very cool looking - skull containers, little plastic spoons included, and the candy is very "slime" like. That's where the good stuff ended for me. I've enjoyed other Amos candies, but not this one.I decided to start with the red one, and I didn't like it at all. There's actually little flavor, not particularly sour or sweet, but I didn't like whatever the flavor was. It just tasted kind of bad to me. That, and about five minutes after having a very small amount of it (not quite even one of the little included spoon fulls), I started feeling not great. Luckily, I started feeling better about ten minutes later. So, no, I'm not going to eat any more of the red and am not going to try the other colors. In case you can stomach more than a spoonful, one skull has about 400 calories and 56 grams of sugar. That's quite a bit of sugar for something that doesn't even taste very sweet.

These Sour Liquid Candy Skulls are loved by children.
I ordered these Candy Skulls for my grandchildren (age 1 thru 10). And Wow, they love them. They love twisting the brain off the skull to get at the great tasting sour (but sweet) liquid candy. Each skull is provided with its own small plastic spoon. They come in three flavors: strawberry, blueberry, and apple. You might want to have a small damp washrag handy to wipe off sticky fingers and faces, because the liquid candy is very gooey. I thought that after the kids were done eating the candy that I could just throw away the skull containers . . . I was sure wrong about that. They want to keep the skulls and twist on brain tops, to use as cups for other drinks; mike, chocolate milk, orange juice, apple juice, etc. The ten year old even kept one of the skull cups and is now using it as a bank for her spare coins. And another granddaughter wants to fill one with rocks and dirt. And another wants to fill hers with potato bugs, ick. Well, the one thing I have learned, is that children have many uses for these plastic skull cups. And it isn't even Halloween yet. One thing is for sure . . . kids love these things.
