Don't worry.If the sewing machine thread is stuck,you can check your portable sewing machine manual first to see if that fixes the problem, or cut the thread as show and repeat the threading process to see if the lack is causing the thread to clog or not work.

Q: How many layers of 1) cotton sheets can this sew; 2) quilting sheets. 3) Can this sew 2 layers of canvas or denim? Thanks.

No only 1 layer of material! I didn’t try it in canvas but I don’t think it will work. Denim it will.

Q: How to automatic winding?

My suggestion is to plug in the power first, then press and turn counterclockwise, and finally pull out the front line. Hope this video can help you!
