Traditional brass school bell
Love the loud clang that this bell makes and very useful as a back door bell.

Bought as a present for my wife - who is a teacher. She likes the bell. Good value. Good ring, Really not sure what "sheerness" (in the review stars) is referring to - but as bell's go it is very sheer?

Sounds and looks great
Love it! Perfect for ringing in independence marches. Loud and distinctive sound. Looks great and the hanger is a nice touch.Fixing for the clapper could be sturdier.

Looks the part and sounds good too
Rings well and looks good. Bell clapper needs fitting but that's relatively easy. Can come off if you don't bend the wire fixing well enough so could fly off in not properly secured, especially if bell is rung upside down. I wanted this as a pantomime prop and it's great for that. All in all a nice little hand bell.

Very pleased
Brought for a church to ring before the Sunday Service starts. We wanted a low priced bell for use in the actual building. To bring the conversation to a close before starting. This does the job. The bell is well made. Not too heavy. Loud enough without being told loud. Just what we needed

Loud bell
It is bigger than it looks like on the picture. The handle is about 12 cm in length.The hook is garbage — not finished nicely and very dull looking.
