Sealy 8-Inch Full Innerspring Bed in a Box + Essentials Memory Foam Gel Cooling Pillow Set

This was a bit confusing, and I discovered I'd ordered the wrong product. The name of the product is Response Essentials 8" BIB- Twin Long. From this name I assumed the mattress was a twin-size mattress, however, when I clicked on the Amazon product page it was specifically described as a queen mattress. Based on this, I ordered what I thought would be a queen-size to fit my bed. When it arrived today, I discovered the mattress is indeed a twin and not the queen I was expecting.It came nicely rolled up in a relatively compact shipping box weighing about 35 lbs. It was easy to unpack, and as soon as I cut through a corner of the vacuum-sealed bag, the mattress started to inflate. It only took a few minutes for the mattress to regain its full shape and density.The mattress contains inner spring metal coils and two layers of foam on the top surface for added comfort. The feel is firm and comfortable. I weigh 175 lbs. and it was pleasant to lie on, without my bottom or hips dipping too low into the mattress. I have no idea how long it will hold its shape, but the inner springs should help to retain its initial shape longer than 100% foam.Something I didn't particularly enjoy is the "bounce" provided by the springs. I've been sleeping on 100% foam mattresses for years. The springs give the Sealy mattress a mild "trampoline" quality that I initially found odd. Instead of just sinking into the softness of the mattress, I tended to bounce a bit every time I moved. The springs also allow the mattress to move laterally just a bit (side to side and end to end) each time I turned over, giving the mattress a slightly "wobbly" feel. This is not a major drawback, and those who are used to sleeping on coil spring mattresses shouldn't notice anything unusual. However, foam mattress sleepers may find that it feels a bit unusual, and it may take a day or two to get used to it. Unfortunately I don't particularly like the bounce and wobble of the coil springs, so this mattress is not for me—even if it was the queen-size I thought I was ordering.Sleepers who like the feel of coil spring mattresses should be delighted with this product. It is comfortable and provides firm support for your entire body. Sealy is a trusted name in the mattress industry and delivers a quality product, but for my personal preference, I've become used to foam mattresses and don't care for the bounce provided by metal coils.

Very thin and uncomfortable. You can feel the springs. And is too soft in my opinion.

I bought it for my high bed, to be able to build my gaming table and it is perfect for me.

Upon opening the package in which the mattress was wrapped and seeing the spot, I immediately thought that I was sent a used mattress! Further inspection of the mattress makes me believe that the dirt spot was part of poor QC at the factory. The stitching on this mattress is sub par. It also looks like a couple of springs are popping up. Very disappointed. I probably could’ve gotten better quality from a no name brand; not to mention saved money.

I was really concerned to be purchasing a mattress online. It is great. It is comfortable and pretty! Very pleased!

This matress is supposed to be medium firmness, but it is too soft. It sags with pressure on it. It is a bit flimsy. Hurts my back.I will purchase a firm pillow top and hope for the best.
