Hostess Mashups 12.7oz Package (Ding Dongs x Twinkies)

These are Basically a CHOCODILE … since those are discontinued.. eh not too bad of a consolation prize.

I guess we expected the twinkies part to have the taste and texture of a twinkie. Not the case. It was nothing more than a ding dong. Note to seller: You might consider a better shipping vessel. Perhaps a box. The package was inside 2 plastic shipping bags and as a result all but 2 cakes were smashed.

These were OK; a bit expensive to order again, but I had a jones for a Chocodile which unfortunately are gone forever. I would have been much happier if the freshness was consistent. Some were very tasty & fresh, while somehow others in the same box were stale & taste like hockey pucks.

Thought this was a good idea for a mashup. It is! You get the yummy Twinkie sponge cake, not much filling and a nice chocolate coating all over. Wish there was more filling, but it's not a show-stopper. The grandkids did not dive in as much like I thought they would.

My son just loved them. Hopefully they'll be other madh ups. Thank you so much.

There’s no reason these should be expiring in less than a month. I needed these for an event the first week in March, but they expire February 7, 2024…I just got them!!Very disappointed and frustrated. I now have to purchase a new box. Complete waste of money. Poor quality control.

I like that it doesn’t have the “cake” taste or texture like the original ding dongs do.. we honestly like these so much better too!

I purchased this product because of good online reviews. However, I was extremely disappointed. My cakes were quite stale when they arrived. The flavor was okay, but nothing extraordinary. I would not buy these again.
