Perfect size for it to be 5 gallons. Almost didn't think it was 5 gallons! It's a good size and shape. Holds well! Sturdy too

The large opening doesn't seal correctly and it leaks all over.EDIT:the company got ahold of me after my first review. They offered to send replacement parts. I am finally home and I Have received the replacement parts! I tested the new cap and seal and it no longer leaks!!!! I am completely satisfied with the product and customer service.

I bought this jug for camping and have been very happy with it's practical features. Knowing that it's BPA Free is what really mattered to me when making my purchase. The release valve has an extension straw that makes it easy to make precise pours. It's easy to wash with the large opening is easy to clean with the large bottle brush that is included. One of my favorite features is the dual handles with a shoulder strap. This allows me to bring a larger quantity of water if I decide to take a long hike.The overall quality is worth the price.

Perfect for household storage of potable water for our family of 4. We bought 3 of these and I am ordering more. I prefer these 5gal sizes because they are also portable for camping. They are solid and seem to be made well. No leaks. Highly recommended.

This container is solid and well made. Having two handles makes it easy to handle and strap down in place in your vehicle.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nicely thought out jug with a few little caveats that keep it from being perfect for me. I'll list the good stuff first1. It holds a lot of water and has relatively slim design. I find this particularly useful for packing into a vehicle. I typically get a couple of the disposable jugs from the store before a camping trip but this one has enough capacity for most of my weekend trips.2. The accessories cover most of what you would want out of a portable water jug. Big opening with pressure relief port for quick filling / dumping (easy cleaning). Smaller opening with adapter for drinking spout. Articulating extension tube for attaching to the spout. The spout also has a good flow control knob.3. Handles are good and unit is overall easy to carry.Now, all of this is great, and I'm pleased with the package for the price, but, I do have some issues with a couple of things. The collapsable nozzle is pretty flimsy. Preferably, this would be a little more robust as it will be attached and detached a bunch. I'm guessing it will deform or break after not too long. I do like that they put a little inset spot to store it on the unit itself but, it doesn't actually fit in there all that well and if I don't break it first, I'll probably lose it in transit.Lastly, the seam on the bottom is suspect. I haven't had it leak or anything yet, but as I intend to use this outdoors and it may take some abuse, the very thin nature of the plastic might prove to be problematic. Especially at the seam on the bottom. See attached image of the light coming through the inside for reference.Despite the above, I do think this is a good reusable water jug for occasional use. I don't think it would stand up to constant abuse but for the casual camper, it should suffice and hopefully save a little money and plastic in the long run.
