Review for MokerLink 5 Port 2.5G Ethernet Switch with 10G SFP, 5 x 2.5G Base-T Ports.Takes a long time to start transmitting packets on power on, 20 seconds or longer boot-up time vs <10 for my 1G Edimax. Speed test once booted was OK and achieved the expected throughput. Unfortunately when upgrading from 1gbps switch to this I started experiencing intermittent networking issues when working from home. I had a couple of 2.5G machines connected: a Macbook with 2.5G adapter and a Linux machine with 2.5G NIC and uplink to my 1G PoE TP-link switch. Nothing that should cause any problems. Power cycling the switch seemed to help. I just went back to the 1G switch and returned this, now all is good. I have heard others experiencing similar, so am going to wait for a reasonably priced TP-link/Netgear because I need rock-solid reliability. It may work OK for some but I can't afford to muck about.

Meets all advertised specs
This is a review of 8 x 2.5Gbe POE switch with 10G SFP+. So far, I really like this switch especially given its price point. It's been deployed to an attic in the Great Lakes area which should be safe given the advertised operating temp/humidity ranges. It's being used with Ubiquiti gear both upstream/downstream and seems to be passing the VLAN tags without issue. The SFP+ port successfully negotiated at 10Gbe despite a 100+ ft CAT6 run and uncertified SFP+ module. Both devices I tested with successfully negotiated at 2.5Gbe. As seen in the screenshot, my computer was able to get the full bandwidth too. I repeated the test multiple times with only very slight variations in the jitter. Testing was performed while an WIFI-7 access point and 5 4K/2K cameras were actively transmitting data and using bandwidth. Finally, it's been providing POE to a WIFI-7 access point, 5 cameras, and 1 switch in over 90 degree weather. Ubiquiti says these devices have a max combined max consumption up to 66W.

Awesome compact switch
I have a few of these switches and they work perfect. THey are easy to use, install and they run even in the most demanding environments. I use mine in a unheated shed, in a pvc box, and this switch works even at -40C

Goede performantie
Gebruik deze om mijn netwerk te updaten naar 2.5gbps en om een wifi access point van stroom te voorzien. Werkt zonder problemen.

Spolehlivý rychlý switch
Funguje spolehlivě a v plné rychlosti.Jako jedinou nevýhodu bych uvedl napájení z opačné (přední) strany, než jsou LAN porty, což ruší vzhled a působí spíše jako industriální než domácí zařízení.
