Metal connector and solid feel , just used it today with a quality hose and it was perfect. I was going to buy the expensive hozelock metal one for 4 times the price and basically this does a great job and feels very sturdy so I am happy. Even the best brands of these have poor reviews so I hope this lasts and if so its a genuine bargain.

Very sturdy excellent spray gun

Decent variety of sprays to choose from. Easy to squeeze handle and good grip. Nut on the back to adjust the depth of squeeze to suit individual hand size. This spray gun has lasted 2 years before the internal spring rusted and became brittle preventing the gun from shutting off the water. The plastic outer "collars" have cracked and broken too now. I suspect it would have lasted longer if removed from the hose and taken inside over winter after each use.

Great price and great product

Fit the existing hose fine, seems well built with at least some parts made from metal. Seems to have slightly higher pressure on the 'jet' setting than our previous one. Twisting mechanism for choosing the spray is reliable, its fairly difficult to accidentally leave it between settings and get the wrong pattern. As with all these things, leaving it outside all year means its unlikely to last more than a year or two but at this price i'm not complaining.

Best and most robust i have bought in years.

I bought this to replace another brand (a well-known blue one) that split and started leaking after just two years. This one is functional and fairly cheap, all things considered. If you're after something budget-friendly and decent enough, it’ll probably do the job. It's too early to comment on its long-term durability — I’ll update on that in time. That said, there are a couple of annoyances. First, the spray selection is only adequate — and some settings tend to ‘drip’ a bit. The chosen spray works, but it also leaks slightly, which is frustrating. Second, the locking catch that keeps the spray trigger engaged is quite fiddly. It’s awkward to set and even more awkward to release. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. It’s just about fine for the price — hence the three-star rating.

Metal. Plenty of spray options which are all emphatic. No drips. Seems like it will Last. Vast improvement on a similar hozelock version which was twice the price.

Great value for the money. Unexpectedly well built, feels very sturdy.
