These are NOT 1/8"
I'm not sure how hard it is to figure out the difference between 1/8" and 9/64", but these are bigger than 1/8" thought the ferrule length measures what it should if it were actually 1/8". This is one of those times you have to debate if it's actually worth attempting to get what you need online because I'm not sure these will crimp tight enough to a wire cable to hold or not.Look at it this way...one would think a plain white clothesline is 1/8". It's not. It's slightly bigger and if you had miles of clothesline to put loops in, you would be in fat city with these ferrules because that oversize 1/8' clothesline will go through the openings where it will not fit in an actual real 1/8" ferrule. That makes these 9/64" holes inside the ferrule. Thrust me on this. On the other hand, a real 1/8" ferrule exactly fits a 1/8" steel cable very snugly and you can be sure the crimp will hold.My debate....send them back or order something else? How much money are you willing to toss at random, do it yourself projects before it gets cheaper to just hire someone to come do it all for you? With the correct size parts. And enough muscle to swage something this large.Order at your own risk. If you have lots of clothesline to string, these are perfect for you. If you have lots of 1/8" steel cable, buy somewhere else.Should I just buy more clothesline and go wild stringing it from tree to tree for the birds or ?????

Not heavy duty
Ok depending on what you are using them for. I am a garage door contractor & not strong enough for my use.
