I needed a roasting pan large enough for when I was cooking for groups...like on holidays. Worked perfectly for a Christmas turkey and look forward to using it for St Patrick's day corned beef!

This pan is not 17 inches inside. It is 16 1/8 inches by about 12 1/8 inches inside. The 17 inches stated in the product title includes the folded down handles and helps you determine if it will fit in your oven. It is big enough for a 20 lb. turkey with space to spare. I know this because I set my frozen turkey in it to check if it would fit. It looks like it will last. It is sturdy without being too heavy. The rack is very heavy duty. The cake pan that came with it is a good size for a lasagna pan. I have not used any of these items yet but at present I am very happy with this purchase.

My last turkey roasting pan was missing in action . The Eyourlife roasting pan had good features. It includes an inner pan and outer pan. The inner pan can be used to store leftovers. The pans are heavy duty and nice stainless steel construction. I like the main pan handles that fold down and out of the way until needed. The inner ribbed rack also has fold away handles. Feet on the rack keep the meat from soaking in the fat. The rack fits the roasting pan well, some other pans are loose fitting. A loose fitting rack will cause a kitchen disaster. Good quality and recommended. Made cooking a large turkey easy.

Has commercial features but in a smaller configuration and with the pro like swing handles I can fit it in my narrow 19 inch wide over. Also swing handles make it easier to turn hot birds on the rack without having to remove the rack.

I love love love this pan. My turkey was huge this year and this pan made things so easy for me.

I only use a roasting pan a couple of times a year, so it took me a while to write this review. But this past week I wanted to make a prime-rib roast, so I thought I would give this pan a try. First of all - it is very durable, but not too heavy to make it difficult to use. Second - the pan and rack are both quite large, but not overly deep. My prime-rib roast actually looked kind-of small in this roasting pan, but it still did the job well. In fact, the larger size made it easier for me to foil-tent the roast during the final stage of cooking - which was nice. I would imagine that this pan could easily accommodate just about any size roast, as well as a medium (if not large) sized turkey. Third - cleanup! This is always a concern for me with stainless-steel cookware as it can tarnish quite easily in the oven. This pan did have this deficiency. The grease that splattered from the roast got baked onto the pan and was difficult to remove to restore the pan to it's original glory (which is quite nice-looking out of the box). I did end up using "Barkeepers Friend" and getting most of it off, but I do think that this pan will loose that "new stainless-steel luster" over time and continual use. Not a deal-breaker, but I would say that clean-up of this pan is "on-par" with other stainless steel cookware.Overall - I like the roasting pan and am glad I ordered it. It has the potential to be an integral part of my kitchen for years to come.
