Reduces vibration & ruins the finish on your table
Kept my machine from moving around & reduced vibration. Unfortunately this mat did ruin the finish on my brand new table. There are crosshatch marks from the texture of the entire mat, a ring entirely around the mat, & discoloration where the machine feet were on the mat. I’ve tried everything I can think of & cannot fix/remove the marks. I would DEFINITELY place something between the mat and whatever surface you may place it on.

does the job
Not only reduces sewing/serger machine noise, the padding keeps accessories from sliding around on the table. I have scissors, extra feet, a tray of pins......all stay in place. I wish they made this bigger. This fits under my Pfaff Ambition 62-0, but does not fit under my Bernina 700 series. Will be ordering another one when I get a serger.

Thick mat
This sewing mat is nice and thick. I actually have not put my sewing machine on it yet, so I can't speak to how it holds up under my sewing machine. I think it will do fine though as the material seems to have the right grip. Right now, my printer is sitting on it and it has actually helped to keep things more quiet when I print documents - which was not my intended purpose!

Keeps your machine stable.
I wasn’t sure this product would meet my expectations but it did! I use a folding craft table and this pad keeps my machine from moving or bouncing. I love it

Thick, cool looking, nice texture
Solid product. Use it every day. Works under both my serger and my straight stitch. Excellent and would buy again. Have tried other products but sticking with this one. Very good.

Density is sub par.
I bought this to go beneath my 3D printer to keep down noise and vibration. It’s not dense enough to keep the feet from compressing it, rendering it useless.

great sewing machine mat
I love this mat - I have my sewing machine on it and it doesn't vibrate or move on the table like it used to. Took a long time to arrive but I do like it.

Left Rubber Spots
Mat stuck to my wood table badly, and left rubber about the size of a quarter in the 4 spots where my machine feet put heavy pressure. Left lighter residue on other places. On the plus side, it does muffle the machine noise.
