I have a 2014 SRX I was able to install these by myself. NOTE: You need to be able to raise the front end off the ground (safely) to get to a series of bolts to get the front grill off. I did mine "blind" feeling for the heads to get them off and then the holes to get them back in. Very little room. The rest is straightforward if you are mechanically inclined.Plan on tearing more apart than you think. The entire front grill has to come off to get these installed. This includes screws in the wheel wells. I bought a cheap trim kit to help remove plastic parts without damaging them.The wiring is NOT the same but compatible. The daytime running lights work, but the fog lights' operation has changed. There are white LEDs on the vertical outside that light up. It's not a problem, but be aware that you will want to double-check your light settings before buttoning it up. If you don't like how they work, it will save you a lot of time.Some people complain about the lamps not pointing correctly. None will until you adjust them. There are adjustment knobs on the back you can turn to get them to point in the correct direction. Again, follow a good video on how to do this. I put tape on the wall where the top of the old lights hit, then adjusted my new ones to match this as best I could.CON: The lights are no brighter than the originals. I didn't catch this until I had the entire car put back together. Once it is, you have to go through some disassembly to get to the lamps and replace them. I was going to try a bright white, but moving the air cleaner out of the way and taking the battery out was too much work for what I would gain. They were in better shape than the old ones, so there was still and improvement.There is no way you could get these replaced, even if you are a DIY person, for any less and for the same quality.

I installed these headlights in January 2024. I’m writing this review on March 25th.These lights fit perfectly and work extremely well. They’re beautiful. I went with the black to change the look of my 2012 Cadillac SRX.I have taken the car through the car wash many many times and they are holding up perfectly.No leaks or problems.

Electric hook up was not right. We had to use the old headlights and reseal them.Disapointed

These fit my Cadillac SUV that happened to have faulty light components known by Cadillac manufacturers on multiple year models. The brights are good. Having trouble getting the dim lights to shine towards the correct area, they point down on the road causing light to fade abruptly at a short distance resulting in very limited visibility. Still can't drive my car at night.

I ordered two sets. One for my 2016 SRX and one for my wife’s 2015 SRX. Installation was easy there are videos on YouTube that show how to do it, and it only takes a few hours at most. The assemblies came with all the bulbs installed, but I have one recommendation. I replaced the highbeam and low beam bulbs with LEDs. The only issue I had Was that although I ordered two identical sets of assemblies the fitting for the LEDs was different between each set. Therefore, I had to order a different set of LEDs for the 2015 set so that the LEDs would fit - not a real big deal, but it is something to keep an eye out for if you decide to install LEDs as opposed to the halogen bulbs so that you don’t run into the same issue of the halogen cooking the chrome off the low beams. (I ended up swapping out the headlight assemblies for both cars because of the common issue of the low beam halogen bulb cooking the chrome off of the inside thus reducing the low beam headlights to almost nil). Also, I have seen comments regarding the headlights angled too too high or too low there is an adjustment bolt on the back end of the headlight assembly to tilt the beam up and down. This is normal. My factory 2012 Cadillac SRX headlights were trash, couldn’t see them on the ground at night. Brought these BIG BIG BIG difference, I can see the headlights on the ground now.Edit: 10/30/24Condensation seems to be a slight issue, at first it was just one headlight now they both do it. It drys on it’s s own in about a day.

I was getting a fix it light on the dash of my SRX about the passenger side low beam. The mechanic took a look at it and said I would keep blowing bulbs because there was water inside the casing of the headlight and I should just order the entire piece. I did, got the black ones and was so excited because I really want to black out all the chrome on the car and have it red and black. These came, I took them to the mechanic, they were absolutely stunning!! Mechanic took the front of my car apart (had to take bumper and everything off) lots of work. Welp…. I ordered the wrong kind. I needed HID or HDI (I can’t remember) so I thought I’d just exchange them. Nope. The correct ones are more than double the cost. So I paid a chunk of change to the mechanic for his time and sent them back. They were gorgeous though. Hoping to some day be able to afford the ones I actually need.

Can drive at night again, perfect fit , YouTube video, basic tools, 2-3 hours, new led low beam bulbs, so defect doesn't happen again.

The lights arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. I followed instructions on YouTube for installation, except my neighbour (who is a retired GM mechanic) said not to undo the bumper screws under the vehicle and just let the whole bumper tilt forward during installation, and he was completely right, saves a lot of crawling around under the vehicle. If you are handy and have the right tools this is a DIY job. As with other reviews, the lights aren’t pointed correctly and they point downward, which is probably by design so that we don’t blind oncoming drivers immediately after we install them. It would have been nice to have instructions to adjust the headlights included, but I’m sure I can figure out how to do this. It just would have been easier if these instructions (or a link) were included with the shipment, and that’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.
