This product has been very refined, thus producing a liquid oil (vs. the cream texture of other products). There is no unpleasant odor or stickiness. I have been using it on my face for several weeks without any adverse reactions/breakouts. It helped to heal up some very dry/raw areas. I was able to even use it under my makeup (I wear very little foundation, but use sunscreen, and lightly tinted moisturizer). It arrived intact and well-packaged. A great value for the money.

Emu oil has been shown to significantly improve itching, erythema, and scales associated with eczema because of its anti-inflammatory properties from its essential fatty acids. This refined emu oil from Everyday Beauty is quite lightweight and thin, but absorbs very quickly into skin. It has a similar slip to jojoba oil which makes it a decent carrier oil as well. I use this emu oil mainly for my hands where I suffer from eczema and I do feel it helps relieve some of the dryness. Overall, it is a decent oil for moisturizing the skin but it does not relieve eczema symptoms as well as prescribed medication. I would not recommend this to vegans either.

This product is used for my dry skin that I have. I put emu oil on my legs and arms when I get out of the shower. I’ve been using it for years. I use it for my dry scalp also.

I'm very familiar with emu products, where emu oil is in a grouping of ingredients, but I wasn't sure what to expect with just a emu oil by itself. If you are unaware, emu oil is transdermal, so is easily absorbed through the skin and works to reduce oxidative damage. It can be gamey in scent, as it comes from a "wild" vs a "domestic" animal, but this product does not have a gamey scent. Emus are raised domestically for a variety of reasons, with oil being one of them. The oil in this product appears to be crystal clear and is a thin but also provides good coverage. Two small drops is enough to hydrate the skin on my face and three drops will cover my shoulder length hair to help with the frizz. On my face, this makes a particularly nice "night time" product but I have been using it during the day. I've applied the drops to my hair and, so far, it has helped with the frizz but not left an oily appearance. I do have to wash my hair after three days of use, as there is a residual in place, but that happens with any hair product. BTW, it does not appear to negatively effect my other hair products and how they work or do anything wonky to my hair color. I do like the product very much.

I used about 1/2 of a dropper full of oil for each foot. I rubbed it in well, and it quickly soaked into my feet. I then put on a pair of thin socks and went to bed. In the morning, when I removed the socks I didn't hear that tell tale sound of rough skin catching on my socks.My feet were far from healed, but they sure were much softer and smoother than the night before. I will continue on with this regimen and see if I can heal them completely. I do have high hopes after seeing what 1 application did for them.This oil did come in an amber glass bottle and the dropper is also glass. I noticed a different review someone stated it was plastic, mine is definitely glass.I am happy so far with this oil and hope it will continue to soften my rough feet.

This is a great product if you have dry skin. This is perfect for the Arizona heat to moisturize feet and my elbows! I recommend this! The only downside is it is a little pricey for how much you get.

Emu oil has many uses and can sometimes be pretty pricey - this 1oz bottle with a dropper was only $5 at the time of my purchase ($8 with a 3 off coupon), which is a great value!Since this is so hydrating, I like to use it under my lip masks at night, to wake up with super soft and well hydrated lips in the morning. And I do the same with my nails, using it as a cuticle oil followed by hand lotion - especially great during the really drying winter months.I appreciated that this was unscented, sometimes Emu Oil can have a little bit of a funky natural smell. But this was perfect.A little bit goes a long way, but I will certainly be repurchasing this brand again when I need more.
