Happy to finally have good rice!
I moved North 10 years ago and could find medium grain rice for about 2 years. Then the 2 big grocery chains near me discontinued it. I tried other types but...this is so flavorful and makes all of my Cajun dishes taste like deep South again!

Awesome Rice
This is grown in the same town my 90 year old dad was raised on a rice farm. I had to get it for him and it was great!!

My new favorite rice!
Being from La., I grew up on "sticky rice" aka short or medium grain rice. I have lived in Texas many years and purchased Water Maid. My regular grocery store quit carrying it or any other brand of medium grain rice. I wasn't switching to long grain rice! Period!I just love this Cajun Country rice! The flavor is so very good! It cooks up well and the cleanness of it is very pleasing to me.

Good prouduct. Packed poorly
I opened the box with my usual box cutter, and sliced open the bag of rice, didn't notice until it dumped about a cup of dry rice all over my floor inside my pantry. Open with care!!

Wonderful flavor and texture
I ordered this when I couldn’t find rice in the supermarket. I usually buy long grain and was somewhat concerned about the medium grain. But my concern was unnecessary. It has wonderful flavor and texture. I like buying domestic also. I will order this again.

The Best!
The best! This is the best Louisiana rice. I use a zojirushi intelligent rice cooker and add a tablespoon full of olive oil, dried onion flakes and dried chopped chives and this rice absorbs and swells, is sweet tasting, does not clump and has good full bodied size. If you use chicken stock instead of water you can come very close to Arborio risotto in the rice cooker...a passable imitation with none of the work. My prior favorite was either basmati or other aromatic rices grown in Texas. Not anymore! It's Cajun Country Falcon mills all the way...
