Q: What is the opening diameter?

Hello! Thank you for your question and interest in our Seal Tight products! Our Seal Tight Adult Long Leg Cast Protector has an opening that is approximately 3.5 inches in diameter. However, the non-latex, rubber opening on this product can stretch to accommodate leg and cast circumferences of up to 28 inches, or about 8.91 inches in diameter. Q: Will this fit over the big air boots that you wear post-surgery?

Once you get it through the opening I think it will fit. The size of my soft cast was like the size of the air boot. It covered my feet all the way up to my kneee. The opening may seem like it will be too small but it does give. Just be careful when putting it on and taking it off.

Not sure I understand the question, but the product does last a long time. If you’re using it every day it will expand in the area you put your leg through.

Q: Will the adult long be too long after total knee replacement. I'm a 5'6" female?

As a 5'10" individual I was surprised by the length of the adult long, it went up to my mid-thigh but could be adjusted and brought down to knee level (I was in a below-knee cast). I'd advise to look at the measurements but I imagine a medium would fit you fine. Their design allows for some flexibility when it comes to positioning so keep that in mind
