the design looks really good in person, and the glide is decently good.it does have the usual chemical/plastic smell that a lot of these cheaper mousepads tend to have and it has a slightly sticky type of coating . coating on mousepads isnt new or much of a bad thing, but it can be felt to the touch with this pad.the glide is a little faster than you'd think considering it's a cloth pad (i was expecting a bit slower than a g640) but it's a nice type of fast. im more of a competitive player, so i wouldnt use this over my artisan hien pad, but for general or casual use, this is more than useable and you could defnintely play well with it.now for the main use for me, which is to be used at a keyboard mat, this works very well, looks really good behind my keyboard. doesnt make my keyboard slide around and makes typing sound and feel better than just sitting on it's own. if youve never used your keyboard with a mat underneath, give it a try, it sounds so much nicer and feels a bit smoother when pressing the keys.edit: the chemical/plastic smell is harder to get out than i thought. i thought i could just wash with soap and get the smell out, but this'll need to maybe soak in laundry detergent. also it makes your hands and whatever it touches smell like chemical/plastic.update: even after soaking this in laundry detergent for 30 minutes i couldnt get rid of the smell, changed rating to a 3.5/5. still really like the look and feel of the pad, just smells like plastic/rubber.update 2: after a second soak and nice rinsing, ive managed to get the smell out, and it still looks good, didnt fade or anything, so at least i was also able to test out whether it holds up from a heavier wash than just soap. leaving this at 4/5 since, for the price, this is still a really nice pad, it will need some washing though since it does have a potent plastic/chemical/rubber smell that can make your hands smell like it.

This replaced my older Corsair MM300 which is a huge long mat. This one is pretty nice, soft, and I love the design. Funny enough I use to live in Kanagawa, Japan so it brings back memories. The texture is smooth and you can use a wireless mouse pad on it just fine. I have a Keychron K4 keyboard paired with a Logitech G Pro X Superlight mouse and its a good combination.
