Micheal & Will
When I read the blurb I was so excited for this book and it did not disappoint! This story is so sweet and was such a fun holiday read.Micheal is having a terrible day and calls his best friend Will. He hasn’t talked to Will in two years but he is still his best friend. Micheal ghosted Will in hopes to stop being in love with him. (Surprise: it didn’t work) Micheal was hoping to be able to talk to Will until the tow truck arrived, he didn’t expect Will to come and pick him up.Will misses Micheal so much so when Micheal calls he answers right away. Will can’t stand the thought of Micheal being stranded in the dark, on the side of a snowy road. He decides he needs to pick him up, and luckily Will is only 20 minutes away. They end up at Will’s family work retreat and due to some confusion they are now pretending to date. Their friendship is adorable and their chemistry is off the charts. This book features a few tropes and they are all done really well. I will definitely be reading this book again.I did receive a free ARC of this book but that did not influence my review.

Audiobook and Ebook reviewI just want to say that I loved this story, but they weren't kidding about the slowburn. Man, I was dying for the first 60% of this book.So we have Michael, a guy who is basically a pushover who found out right before Christmas that his boyfriend has wanted to break up with him for months. Hurt, he starts driving and breaks down on the side of the road. The first person he calls is his best friend that he ghosted two years ago, Will. Will actually answers and goes to rescue him and brings him along to his company's holiday trip. This is the same company from The Christmas Deal. Will is still hurt about being ghosted but still cares for Michael. Will is also into guys but has not told anyone. These two get even closer and fall in love even more.Personally, I did not think that there was enough groveling from Michael but outside of that, they were perfect for each other.Greg Boudreaux did an awesome job with the accent of Will, and I enjoyed the narration a lot.

I’m not sure
Fake boyfriend is one of my favorites, and this one hit what I needed. Two best friends who hadn’t seen each other in years find a love they never knew they had when they pretend to love. I love the sweetness between the two. And how they complimented each other. Perfect Christmas story. So why the 3? It’s because the writing, the description of characters were off for me. Why did you point out some of the white characters but not all of the white characters even though majority of the characters are white including the main characters. What was the purpose of that. There are a total of three BIPOC characters and based off a characteristic and descriptions everybody else is white. why did you specifically make it known that those characters are white what’s going on there? It kept making me think you were making sure this book could never be little mermaided, or since many readers myself included are asking for more diverse stories you made sure this one was not like a slap in the face. I can’t figure out what’s up but as Blk reader it didn’t sit right.

Sweet and lovely with the perfect amount of heat!
The Christmas Leap made me laugh out loud in several places and grin ear-to-ear in others. The tropes are familiar - bi-awakening, fake boyfriends - but Keira Andrews makes them feel fresh and specific: this is Will and Michael's bi-awakening fake boyfriend story and it is definitely different from others you've read. There are some steamy scenes between the adorable MCs (one of whom is Scottish!) and the supporting cast of characters make the story feel well-plotted and real. Angela Barker's daughters are a treat and so is Will's mum!I love everything Keira Andrews has written, and The Christmas Leap is a lovely addition to her universe of M/M HEA romance. Spoiler (?): not only do we get to see what's new with characters from The Christmas Deal, but Cody and Liam from Andrews's Australian lifeguard series make an appearance as well!I can't wait for Connor's story that Andrews teases in the epilogue!

Relationship Leap
Another great fake it until you make it. There is a bit of history between these two so it is easy for them to be comfortable with each. I also like how the other encourage them in their caper. I listened to audio version and it was a lot of fun.

A great Christmas love story
Friends to lovers and bi-awakening and fake boyfriends...does it get any better? Ms. Andrews does it again. This is such a sweet, steamy story that spans the globe from Albany, NY to Perth, AU. You really can't go wrong with any of her stories, and this is no exception. A great addition to your holiday story collection.

A beautiful Holiday romance...
A beautiful Holiday romance with a lot of heartwarming, sweet moments and a lot of steam. Michael and Will's backstory made me suffer a little bit for them, but it was a delight witnessing the awakening of their feelings for each other. Another cute friends to lovers, Christmas love story written by Keira Andrews, perfect to enjoy in this festive season!

My favorite books of Andrews’ are “Honeymoon For One” and “Flash Rip” and this just got added to the list. Loved every second of it!

The Chrissy Leap
Another sweet read from Keira Andrews. Friends to start with several complications in the middle of their journey and the beginnings of a funny and beautiful love story. I loved the fact that they returned to Western Australia (my home town) so I could clearly see where they were whilst ’Down Under’ It’s a really great read to have on a Chrissy break 😍📚❤️

Just what I needed
It’s two weeks until Christmas as I write this, and not a single wisp of the Spirit in sight. And then I start to read this gift from Keira. And I refuse to put it down. As with all of her writing, she provides the right people, elements and enough sweet twists and turns to make this just what I needed. I guarantee you’re gonna love these guys and their story. Now it’s time to get the tree up and decorated.
