My son just got the orange Lamborghini for his birthday and with brand new batteries it only drives backwards. Any tips on what may be going on?

Check the remote. My son didn't have an issue with this car, but another toy did only go in reverse. I checked the remote and a wire was broken. fixed the wire and alls well.
