Well, I don't have a boat, but I've got some fiberglass or plexi windows to my shower that surrounds the bathtub, and I let it get so soaped up you can't even see even light out of the translucent material. You would think that soap scum would not be cut by soap, however it apparently is and it rinses away easily. When I get more ambitious I'm going to try this on the vinyl siding on the garage, it is always black from street grime that comes over the fence because the garage is just about 15' off of a busy street. I've had it pressure washed, but it still did not remove all the dirt, this might.A little goes a long way the instructions say use three capfuls to a bucket, (probably only about an ounce to a few gallons of water) or double that for stubborn stains. You get a quart or 32 ounce bottle which for 13 dollars is a bargain at this concentration. There is nothing on the label that tells me what this is made of, but it does do the job, and since it's listed as biodegradable, it will not poison your lawn or your bushes if used nearby. Recommended for boaters, but also for those with anything else metal, or fiberglass, or even a painted surface you want cleaned.

My daughter got her first car. It is used, but she is still at the point where she can wash, vacuum and clean her car often. The scent is nice- almost like a gentle fruity smell with a twist like bubble gum- but not sickening at all.HOW WAS IT USEDShe used 3 caps into a bucket of warm water, and she washed as instructed.PERFORMANCE?This cleaner cleaned very well. It removed mud (when she got her car stuck in the mud it was completely covered), dirt, tar, and greasy spots without streaking. The car was left in great condition ready for polish. The surface was left clean with no residue as promised.THE BOTTOM LINEFor a great cleaning for a car with no streaking or residue, this is good stuff. After a too long winter it was time to wash our boat. I used this boat soap concentrate to clean up our paddleboat. The instructions are easy to add to a bucket of water. I also ended up just putting some on a sponge and wiping away. It did a good job of cleaning. I like that it's safe for the the lake water since it's biodegradable. I do think it's a little odd to require such a bright blue color on the soap and the smell was VERY sweet. I feel like a clear color and no scent would have been just fine.

I don't own a boat, BUT, in reading what this is and how it works, I decided to purchase it for my car. In the way of low suds, I still noticed that it is about the same as my car wash/wax. I do like the fact that it seemed to clean the bird droppings and stains much easier than the car wash/wax I usually use. It smells good too. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results of using on my vehicle. I don't have wax on the car so I can't tell if it was stripped or not. I followed the directions in pouring 3 cap fulls of the wash into the bucket and added water. I do recommend also, adding warm water to the bucket so that the wash is warm. In my experience, warm water tends to clean the dirt and grime easier than cold. Just a tip. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this product. Thus far it seems safe for my vehicle. There was no warnings on the bottle against using on the vehicle. As it stated that it is good for boats, and tow vehicles.
