Fantastic Product.
I can't recommend the TK waistband enough. I purchased mine about 7 years ago and I'm still using the same one to this day. I never really wore a lifting belt as I always hated wearing one. But as I got older I wanted something that gave my back a little support and a little warmth but at the same time wasn't as restrictive as a weightlifting belt. This easily satisfied all of those requirements. The band provides just a touch of support to the lower back without doing any actual work for you, and at the same time keeps your entire lower back very warm. It's a really great product. I simply couldn't recommend it enough.

velcro could be a problem
I've had a similiar heat retention belt by Bob Hoffman from 1969. Eventually the glue on the seam separated or the thick neoprene tore. I've used this new product faithfully but the velcro doesn't retain its original texture; instead of repeatedly separating the velcro I attach it once, then just pull it up using a tshirt underneath which absorbs excess sweat created by the heat. The Hoffman product was the original used by Olympic lifters such as Bob Bednarski, both for knees and waist, and I'm glad this has come around to take its place. Back in the 60s when Hoffman was selling the belt, credit was not given to Tommy Kono for the original idea. And credit must be given to the Hoffman product as they asked for three measurements to make the tube type neoprene custom fit allowing it to be pulled on in one motion as opposed to repeatedly pulling the velcro apart. The TK knee supports are perfect in every way and replicate what the old Hoffman waist band was. They support and retain heat to heal and condition the knee.

Good Product
I have been power lifting all my life and have tried several different belts. I tried this product because a friend at the gym was using it. I think it is a good product but it is not designed to heavy power lifting. It will tell you that it can do it all, but I have not found to perform as well as a 3 or 4 inch leather belt.I found the product helpful during heavier dumbbell workouts to help stabilize my core and provide warmth to the area. Beginner weight lifters could benefit from the product to ensure they are using proper form during their lifts, but if you are an advanced lifter or are using heavy weights (350lbs. and more) I would not use this product.

Great product, but...
A great product. I use it when I'm running and powerlifting. My only complaint is that the velcro on it wears away after a while (I've had mine for ~3 months). I am going to attempt to restore it, but I suspect the "stickability" will still be sub-par. So, buy it, but keep in mind it may not last forever!

Great product and durable !
Yes ,It was just what I was looking for . It stays latched and is very warm on my back . It supports me very well . I can wear it under my clothing and no one knows it's there . I've only had it about a month , but there is no sign of wear yet . I wear it when lifting weights and doing tasks around the house and yard .John R. Schou

Nice support, good heat
I have nothing but good things to say about this belt. It's easy to put on, easy to get extra tight for good compression, and it keeps my abs and lower back nice and warm during heavy sets with long rest periods and light sits with short rest periods. Price is pretty good too. Goes nice with the other tono kono items (elbow / knee bands )

I wear this underneath my Adidas leather weightlifting belt and ...
I wear this underneath my Adidas leather weightlifting belt and it provides warmth and comfort for heavy squats, without the rigidity of my my Inzer Lever belt. I prefer this style of belt for higher repetition squats, 6-8 reps, than my 13 mm lever belt.
