KEEN Men's Evofit One Sandals Trekking & Hiking Shoes

I tried a few Keen designs and the Evofit was by far the most comfortable with removable insole and fits-like-a-glove material. A bit more expensive but for me, after suffering from plantar fasciitis, a good shoe is everything! Just for the record I needed to go up a half size to UK 8.5 than my usual 8 fit. And although I'm female I went for the men's shoe for width. Very happy with my purchase

Excellent not taken them off great sandle

If ordering this hiking sandal make sure you order at least half a size larger than you normally take (which I did). They are still very slightly tight but are comfortable on bare feet and will no doubt ease over time. Also the elastic lacing is a little on the short side. But the build and look of the sandals is great and they are not too heavy, and solid.

Size 11 fits as expected - was advised to order a size above normal - worked out ok. Pretty comfy, well made, seem durable, but a problem after 4 weeks ownership/wearing: A smell not entirely unlike cat wee has started to emanate from them...No option here to contact seller now, so will contact Keen directly. UPDATE: contacted Keen Europe; disinterested, saying no other cases of this reported and to use tea tree oil to treat them. No more Keen products for me then...

Too small

I like Keen sandals. I am fully aware that not all of their products are American made. I’m very disappointed that the photos and description of the sandals that I bought show American built but as shown in the photos attached to this review they clearly are not. They also had 2 broken support strings on the heel

Would buy again

So I finally acquired a canoe in my life and took it out with a friend. I didn't want to wear flip flops in the boat, knowing they could easily slip off when I get to shore. I grab my not-name-brand water sandals (they were kinda like a Teva in style where it had the velcro across the top and velcro across the ankle) and off we go. We slide into the river and enjoy the beauty around us. Up ahead not too far, we see this unmanned island in the middle of the river. As we pull closer to shore, I try to be chivalrous and tell my passenger I'll get out so she doesn't have to. We get closer to shore and I slip my leg out. It looked to be 6-8 inches deep, but that was not counted the muck and slime that pulled my leg up almost over my knee! So I had a problem... the sandals I was wearing actually made it harder to pull my leg out of the muck because of the open footbed of the sandal! I wasn't in danger by any means. But boy was I annoyed. So we started laughing and she handed me a drink while I tried to wiggle my way out of the quagmire. Suffice it to say... I retired those sandals.Since I own nine other pairs of KEEN, I looked for a suitable water sock/sandal and ran across these bad boys. I didn't want traditional KEEN as I wanted them to dry quick and be able to help a fella out should I come across another muck situation. When I saw these and other reviews, I pulled the trigger and bought them. Sure am glad I did! These KEEN Evofit are SO COMFY! I feel like I could hike in them and not be uncomfortable. So I walked in the water a bit before hitting my next canoe trip. There are a few little holes in the side (much smaller than "normal KEEN sandals") and those holes allowed a little bit of sand/rock in the footbed, but overall I was so stoked to be able to get in and out of the water and sand much more quickly than the previous mentioned sandal type.OVERALL: If you are looking for a great sandal to take in the water and then on land, I"d recommend them. The material allows for quick passage of water, and they seemed to dry really fast (I didn't time it people, other things to do!). But I am SO happy to add these to my spread of KEEN shoes.I highly recommend this product!I'm a size 9.5 and these fit true.

Nice product... let's see if it lasts as long as the last keens that I owned for 5+ years.
