I am a great fan of Matt Hilton so was pleased to see that another member of the family had decided to write as well. I thought this book would be good but it's far better than that ! The writing is (almost) as good as Matt's, the pace is fast and furious, the storyline is superb and the characters are interesting and believable. I was hooked from the first page and found myself reading when I should have been doing other things. It is one of the great (new) un-put-downables. I won't go into detail and spoil it for others but this story is certainly worth reading, for every fan of thrillers this is ideal. I shall certainly be buying James' books when he gets around to writing some more. Looking forward to the next instalment, James.Buy this and you will certainly enjoy it.

I have followed all of these, and really enjoy them.

A novel that is a good balance between a plausible story and action to keep you turning the pages.A really easy to read novel, keeping you up in the wee small hours to find out what was going to happen next and hoping that you were right. Will I be correct in the direction Danny goes or not. Not long to wait now till the second book in the series comes out.

Couldn't put this book down! Drawn into the Gunn brothers world from the start. Good characters, great story, and most important for me you feel the author knows and understands what he's writing about. A believable story is always more interesting. For lovers of action, martial arts, weapons and suspense this is the book for you!
