I like this lockbox, I think the purpose is very useful for most people considering most people have a vice or two. The lockbox itself works very well, and I have put it to use a few times. It's also nice how you can set the lock for just a few minutes or whole days at a time.That being said, I think the design could have been better. First of all, the batteries are very difficult to put inside. There is a picture and explanation showing you how to put it in, but it doesn't show the + or - side, so it becomes a guessing game. I had to have my Dad put the batteries in, with much force since I couldn't get it to fit.Second, the lockbox never turns off. It says it is battery efficient, but it stays on 24/7. It would have been nice to have an ON/OFF button.Third, to set the lockbox time, you have to turn the dial to add minutes. So if you want to lock it for 4 days for example, you have to turn the knob like 15-20 times or more I'd say. It would be nice to have a manual input, or even just a few buttons with incremental times to choose from.To justify the steep cost, those additional features I mentioned would have made sense and could have been very doable.
