I found it easy to install and it looks smashing. Also easy to fine tune by tweaking the 3 PIR adjustment screws on the front. One adjusts the field of detection up to 8m max, depending also on the height of the installation (the higher, the further). Another adjusts the time of being lit from 5s to 5 mins max (be careful, very small movements can have a bigger effect than may be anticipated). The third (lux) adjusts the level of daylight required for the light to operate, making it possible to have it come on in daylight at one end of the spectrum so as to set it up for both time and distance, then adjusting the lux to the opposite end of the spectrum so it will then only come on in the dark.I've chosen to use a clear E27 40w candle bulb which I bought on a certain auction site at 10 for about £4 and I think it suits the light very well and offers more than enough light for its purpose.

This doesn’t have a switched live - that would allow it to be switched on and override the timer. However, that said, it works fine after a few adjustments, of the sensor and the timer. It looks good and for the price of it, I can forgive the lack of switched live.

Looks really nice and has a good light. Reasonably priced. Dearest was getting an electrician to wire it in. Mmm koo koo

Good lamp really pleased

This product is amazing. The finish is of really high quality. The sensitivity is really good. I ordered two and the sensitivity on both is exactly the same which means they light up at the same time. This is honestly brilliant because whenever someone pulls up to our drive, it looks really smart and just overall, satisfying. They do not rust (as far as I have experienced) and we have received many compliments on them. Our driveway is fairly large, can fit about 4-5 cars, and these lights light up the entire driveway. I would definitely recommend buying.

Looks good but the adjustment of the sensor is a little bit fiddly, either picking up people/cars going passed or not coming on until you’re almost at the door. But I’ll sort it eventually, I hope.

Instructions hard to understand as they contradict the symbols on the three buttons on the light. Time doesn't apparently mean time but something else on which is confusing. From what I can see they are easy to fit as well if your ok with electrics. The plastic part is what would normally be the glass with a low grade stainless cover . This has a rubber seal which looks as much use as a chocolate teapot and is secured by three screws.The bulb also when fitted doesn't fit straight but that might be my OCD! Bought two but one didn't work and looked used (a return?) but fair play to Amazon they replaced straight away with a replacement. OK for the money and time will tell if they cotinue to work

Boys with footballs kicked out my original lamp; so I bought one that looks just like this from Screwfix.However it was a cheap and nasty poor copy - as others have now also noticed. The bolts were too short and it then failed to function having being wrestled into position.This unit was sturdier, better finished and the bolts were longer and much easier to install.Little trick, put insulation tape on the back of the bolts before installing, in case of an uneven wall, because they slide backwards when you try to screw the heads on. Luckily these are longer.When wired up - it came on in 30 secs, be patient and stayed on for 5 mins to 'warm' up.After it switched off the default adjustment screw (pointing straight downwards) gave the right settings, but the time was a bit short at 1 min, a quick tweet and its 2 mins, enough to welcome people; but not light the entire road.You need an Edison screw bulb (ES) full size and I would go for a halogen bulb. CFL's are not good at repetitive switching at all, they never reach full bright before turning off; plus they contain mercury, so early failure is not rare spotted newt friendly etc.Should you buy one?YES

Da meine alte Edelstahlleuchte nach Jahren den Geist aufgegeben hat, musste eine neue her. Nach längerem suchen, welche Form es denn sein sollte, habe ich diese entdeckt.Die Lampe sieht sehr edel aus. Ist sehr gut verarbeitet und hat zwei Dichtungen. Die erste dichtet die Elektroanschlüsse ab. Die zweite Dichtung sitzt oben unter dem Dach, so dass kein Wasser in die Beleuchtung kann.Eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung meiner seit und das zu dem sehr günstigen Preis.

Nachdem ich in verschiedenen Baumärkten Ausschau gehalten habe, entschie isch mich für dieses Produkt (war um but 10 € billiger als im Baumarkt) und habe es nicht bereut. Das Design ist ansprechend, die Verarbeitung für dieses Geld sehr gut. Die Montage ist ganz leicht, 2 Löcher bohren die Kabel anklemmen und festschrauben, das ist alles. Eine Montagehöhe von 1,80 Metern ist empfehlenswert. Die Justierung von Einschaltdauer und Sensoremfindlichkeit ist einfach, man braucht nur einen kleinen Flachschraubendreher, am besten macht man dies bei Dunkelheit da man dann nicht so oft nachstellen muss. Alles in allem ein hervorragendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Positiv: - ordentlich verarbeitet zB mit Silikondichtungsring an der Glasabdeckung, fairer Preis,Negativ: - Der Lampendeckel ist mit drei Schrauben auf dem Glas befestigt und muss für jeden Wechsel der Leuchtmittel mit Schraubenzieher abgeschraubt werden (eine Arretierung durch ein Schraubgewinde oder zumindest Schraubenköpfe, die man mit den Fingern drehen kann, wären da deutlich besser gewesen)- leider haben die 3 Stellschrauben für den Lichtsensor keinen Anschlag und lassen sich deshalb "endlos" drehen, dies erschwert das Einstellen der gewünschten Empfindlichkeiten- grösstes Manko ist jedoch der nicht verstellbare Bewegungs-/Lichtsensor (bei uns ist die Lampe in ca. 2.20 Meter Höhe an der Hausaussenwand direkt über dem Zuweg angebracht, und das Sichtfeld des Sensors liegt deshalb grösstenteils ausserhalb des Bereichs, wo man sich bewegt). Bei anderen Lampen ist das Sensorkügelchen oft zumindest um einige Grad drehbar um den Sensor optimaler auszurichten.Wer eine schöne Lampe sucht, die maximal in Kopfhöhe angebracht werden soll, kann hier nicht viel falsch machen. Soll oder muss die Lampe jedoch höher angebracht werden (zB durch die vorgegebenen Stromanschlüsse) findet sicher besser geeignete Produkte.Kurz gefasst: Aussehen Top, Technik stark verbesserungsfähig.

Die Qualität ist wirklich gut, nicht sehr gut. Ich hatte mir gleich zwei Stück bestellt und ich werde sie mir noch einmal bestellen, da ich sehr zufrieden bin. Der Sensor reagiert sehr gut. Optisch macht die Lampe auch was her und ist einfach einzustellen.

Der Artikel ist sehr gut und voller Zufriedenheit in Funktion und Ausführung.Wurde verwendet an Außenwand einer Garage.Bewegungsmelder sehr gut und zufriedenstellend.
