Legendary Whitetails Womens Cottage Escape Flannel Long Sleeve Plaid and Solid Color Clothes, Fitted Button Down

The color is great, the quality is great, the shirt is semi soft, but the fit is odd. The bust fits well, but the waist is tight when buttoned up. Not sure if I should have went a size up. I bought a size large. I wanted a looser fit. I kept the shirt but wear it unbuttoned.

The quality of this shirt is very good. The fabric is yarn dyed versus printed on the fabric which should keep the colors vibrant longer. A lot of attention to details such as a flattering fit versus the usual boxy fit found in most flannel shirts. The shirt is long enough to cover your back side and for those that have more ample hips the shirts flared sides provides for a roomier fit. Having sewed many of my clothes over the years the only thing I didn't like was that the pattern did not match up on the sides, however it matched perfectly in the front. I haven't washed it yet but with it being 100% cotton I plan to wash on cold and hang dry. For reference I am 5'3", 120 lbs, the shirt in the picture is size small. I purchased a medium before this one and it was too big, I'm returning it but only to exchange sizes because I like the shirt so much.

I love almost everything about these shirts. The fabric is soft, yet sturdy. The quality is above what I expected at this price point. The tailored fit is perfect. The only drawback is how much they shrink. A lot. Like, at least a full size.I am a firm Medium, at 5'6" and 149 lbs. I wanted this to be a second layer, so I ordered Large in a couple of colors. They fit perfectly over a base layer. Then I washed them. They still fit, but definitely not over anything more than a thin tank, and the sleeves are now too short. Admittedly, my arms are a little long. So I ordered this one in XL, washed it, and now it's a nice Large to go over a light or medium-weight base layer. I do highly recommend these! Just order up a size if you plan to wash it.

Quality and weightof fabric excellent, I bought a size up so I could wear a lightweight sweater under it. They is good! The sleeves are long enough, too. It’s been washed one, pulled out of dryer when nearly dry and looks great! Compared to other flannel shirts I’ve ever had, this is seriously better!

This shirt is better quality than any clothing I’ve probably ever purchased off this site. The flannel is nice and heavy, the colors pretty, and the shirt seems to be very well made. It washes well, and I really like that it has a bit of shape to it and isn’t wide and boxy like so many these days. I ordered my usual size and it fits well overall, although it is slightly snug around my hips, but that’s my build, not the shirt’s fault. My only concern and the only thing that would make me think twice before ordering in another color is that the shirt gaps open a bit between the middle/upper buttons sometimes even though it doesn’t feel tight at all. Since I always layer with at least a tank top underneath, it’s not a deal breaker. I am pleased enough with the fabric and quality that I will likely purchase again, even if I decide to try sizing up.

Medium wouldn't allow for shrinkage so I ordered Large and the whole shirt was too long but I figured it would shrink a little, well it shrank a whole size. When I pulled it out of the cold wash I saw that it was way shorter so I shook it out to lengthen it and then dried on very low just until it was partially damp, then I hung it up to finish drying. It still looks nice but the arms are definitely shorter and I will have to add a snap to keep it from gaping across the bust. The color is nice and the sleeves still cover my wrists although before I could turn the cuff back and it still covered my wrist. I would say 100% cheap cotton to shrink so much! I'm 5'4" 132 lbs. and normally wear M shirts.

It is made of a soft & sturdy fabric and fits true to size. I am really glad I bought this shirt!

These shirts are beautifully designed and well made. Their plaids are special. And the fabric is soft and cozy for a winter day. It reminds me of my 50’s childhood. I bought one for everyone in my family from 3 to 79 yo and they loved them. The prices are great. The result…a fun Christmas!

Yes, they are a bit expensive.... but the flannel is thicker, the colours beautiful, and the slightly tailored fit more feminine in a "lumberjack" shirt. I wore the royal blue/purple version for Christmas this year, because I thought it looked dressy and festive enough for a country Christmas that involved a walk in the woods before dinner. I'd love to get all the colours, but can't justify spending that much on more flannel shirts when I already have lots of cheap Walmart ones that look like pajamas.

Enfin j’ai trouvé une chemise confortable et avec assez d’amplitude pour mes bras. J’ai les bras un peu dodus et j’ai toujours de la difficulté avec les manches qui sont souvent inconfortables et trop ajustées mais avec cette chemise je suis à l’aise. J’ai pris ma taille habituelle. Le seul bémol c’est la longueur mais comme je ne mesure que 5pieds 4 c’est un peu normal mais cela ne m’empêche pas d’apprécier cette chemise. Très satisfaite de mon achat.

This is a beautifully made shirt, super soft flannel, thick enough for some warmth. The sleeves are comfortably roomy and a good length so you can really move. This is not a figure hugging cut, even with my big butt there’s lots of room. I ordered XL rather than my usual size M to allow for shrinking. Cold wash did not affect the fabric at all, neither did a short trip in the dryer on low. But if you accidentally leave it in the dryer a bit too long the shirt will shrink significantly.I ordered 2 more shirts in my normal size M. They will be washed cold and dried flat only, it’s not worth taking the risk with the dryer no matter what the washing instructions say.
