This keepsake box is really nicely crafted out of real wood with a beautiful grain to it. Small details really make this box special, like the heart shaped clasp, bendable curved wood at back of box that folds over, and it’s all wood joints (no nails) expertly fitted together. The interior has a partition to sort smaller items to one side. Unfortunately the larger compartment isn’t quite big enough to hold standard size greeting cards (which is what I had intended to store- special anniversary and wedding cards), but I could possibly take out that partition if I really wanted. Otherwise, it can still hold many other keepsakes or treasures. The writing on the front is nicely done as well. This could easily be given as a nice gift (but you would want to ship it to yourself and gift box it up since it doesn’t arrive in anything but a standard mailing box and bubble wrap. The price seems like a bargain to me for the quality of what you’re getting here; would definitely order again!

Myself and my significant other absolutely loved this.Real wood all around and masterfully made, our unit did not have any flaws in workmanship. Arrived completely preassembled and ready to go out the box so the recipient does not have to do any assembly or set-up. They can go straight to adding in their treasured keepsakes from the event.Note, as with any treasured keepsakes contained within, this box is fragile. Especially the hinge area which should not be pulled on and only opened and closed in the designed manner. You will need to be mindful and careful of the location this box is kept.

My wife collects boxes of all shapes and sizes so when I saw this one which doubled as a "love story" memory box I decided to order it.The box is not that big. Externally it is approximately 7.5 inches by 7.5 inches and 1.5 inches. The internal storage area is divided into two parts. The smaller is approximately 6.5 by 1.75 by 1.25 inches and the larger compartment is approximately 6.5 by 4.75 by 1.25 inches.The larger compartment is big enough to accommodate a standard 6 inch by 4 inches card but it's not going to handle anything much bigger than that. Obviously, it would accommodate letters if anybody even still writes them nowadays. I guess the smaller compartment could be used for buttons, tickets, flash drives, and so on.The hinge is a very strange affair which is really a series of slits in the wood which allow it to open. It will open to a full 180 degrees and lie flat behind the box.In use, my wife liked it, and she's got it full of cards and trinkets already. It's a shame that it's not a little bit bigger but it does fulfill its intended purpose. The only negative I have against it is that since its arrival the lid has curved slightly. It's not outrageously obvious but it doesn't close quite as well as it used to. I assume that this is humidity related as our apartment is quite dry. Apart from that I think it would make a nice gift and it's very lightweight so wouldn't cost much to ship. If you're looking for something yourself then this is worth consideration.

It looks really good and has a thoughtful design to it where even the door clasp is built into the wood.The hinge appears to either been created via slicing the piece of wood or slats put together. There appears to be no metal involved in the making of this. It is very rustic and a great show piece. It is a bit on the smaller side but a great value at this price point. Being a bit smaller allows for it to be on display without taking up much room. I think the wood is less than 1/8 inch thick. It might be nice if the divider could be removed, but it might need to be permanent to provide extra support. Great for any anniversary, wedding, etc. either filled with special items or by itself. Especially good for the 5th year which is wood.

This indeed is a card box that is almost fragile. I opened first time and was concerned I would break it right away, and I was not being rough. The latch is made of the same material and essentially is a simple fitting. When I Opened it I was concerned I would open it too much causing strain on the "spine" of the box. In one of the pictures it implies it will open at 90 degree angle, but I was not able to even open it 90 degrees. A second picture shows the box open all the way with an image of a couple and a USB which obviously does not come with this, nor does the box open that wide. I guess I could test that out for the purpose of testing it, but if and when it strains the "card" board then it will be broken. It is a nice concept for holding a special wedding item provided you don't open it very often. Concept is very nice and one I would definitely love to have provided it was a bit sturdier and maybe made out of something more firm.

This box looks very nice and just like in the listing images. It is lighter (weight-wise) than I thought it would be and the wood it is made of is thin, but it still looks nice. I got it as a wedding gift and the couple loved it. No assembly required.

This wooden keepsake makes for an amazing gift! It is beautifully made and the care to details in how the wood is crafted is amazing! Very pleased with this product! The only thing though, is that the box comes alone there are no shavings to pack it with or a usb drive, like in the photos, that is strictly for reference.
