Kit Kitten and the Topsy-Turvy Feelings: A Story About Parents Who Aren't Always Able to Care

This book totally failed to deal with the issue of having a bi-polar mum in any meaningful way. It focused on the social worker as a fairy godmother who could bring the happy ending kit desired. If you need to help a child understand don't bother buying this book!

As a social worker I find this book very useful. It is well illustrated and the children really enjoy reading it - it is a good tool to use with children who are being neglected and/or have parents with mental health problems.
