I would order a medium I wear xlg and ordered a xlg and was happy

Q: I normally wear US medium but a few winter jackets i have are large. How do i properly choose the right size?

I just lost a tone of weight and we t down a size in all my clothes. This coat fits me great with a little room.

Q: My hubs is a medium build but has very muscular arms. Sometimes this is an issue. How roomy are the sleeves?

I'm an average medium, no beefy arms, but for me the sleeves are not very loose. They're comfortable and not tight, but they don't have much extra space.

Q: Someone who has bought this, what is the actual material? Is it wool and polyester as the description says, or wool and cotton, and polyester lining?

It is wool and polyester as described. It is a nice looking jacket, but not as heavy as the old pea coat.
