Cheap, but you get what you pay for.
This is a really cheap replacement for the 2008 MacBook pro battery, but it's not quite the OEM quality. this battery is a lot more flexible than the original, which has been causing me some issues with the trackpad when moving the laptop. Cheap! it is what it is.

Cheap replacement for those on a budget.
Perfect replacement for my friends Macbook battery. The original had four bloated cells and the laptop refused to turn on. It runs okay without the battery but for some reason Apple reduces the speed. This cheap replacement battery prevents the slowdown so that my friend may continue to use her Macbook as a media PC.

Customer reports battery gets very hot
Bought this battery to put in a macbook and later sold it. Only 2 days after installing battery, customer now reports battery is getting very hot and wants a refund for the laptop. Do these batteries not work properly in a macbook? Battery was determined to be source of heat by an Apple service center.

8 Months in...battery failed "replace now"
After 8 months of use I'm now getting the "replace now" icon on my battery display (mac). I'm a little disappointed because I rarely use my laptop in battery mode exclusively and would expect a better result. I will be looking to exchange for a new one as I understood this battery came with a one year warranty?
