Easy to use. Much easier than bigger tongs.

A nice thing to have to serve pasta like a chef. Much better than just dumping spaghetti on a plate.

Odd feeling and a bit difficult to use compared to other tongs
I purchased these "tweezer tongs" as an adjunct to my old standby precision scissor tongs. I use tongs primarily when frying bacon so it's important to be able to keep my hand as far as away from spattering grease, while also being able to maintain easy control of what I'm handling with the tongs.While the 12-inch tweezer tongs are longer, because of the tweezer design, I have to have my hand within 5-inches of the bottom in order to have full control of what I'm handling. My old scissor tongs (top in photo) are shorter overall, but I can have full control of the bacon while keeping my hand 7-inches from the popping grease.Even though the design of the tweezer tongs doesn't suit my purpose, I decided to hang onto them anyway. Meantime, I need to find a pair of scissor tongs with narrow metal tips, like the 30 yr old pair I have.

These are exactly what I needed! Some foods are fine using regular tongs, but for the small foods or thing meats- these make life so much more easier.
