Nine times out of ten I wear a 6 but needed a 6 1/2 in this. So I’d say, yes. Go up a 1/2 size

Q: Are these ok for crossfit or are the soles very bouncy?

I would think they would be fine for CrossFit, I used my pair for walking in trails (I live in a desert climate with very rocky and tough terrain). I also use them for everyday wear, I didn’t feel much bouncy-ness from my experience but I found them supportive for my feet that need arch support. I hope this answers and helps your question.

Q: Are these slip-resistant at all?

I walk in rain, snow and slippery conditions and no problems. Plus after 4-5 months of use the sole is still in good shape.

Q: Are these for high arches?

I am not sure about the high arch, however, I have issues with my arch and the inner edge of my foot by the big toe. I’m an avid walker and I often wear these shoes for my 2-3 mile walks. With other shoes I’d return in pain, but these lightweight shoes seem to support my feet. I’ve had them for about 4 or 5 months and still are doing the job. I’d give them a try and see if they work for your high arch.
