Grinds beautifully!
The media could not be loaded. This grinder is amazing! It grinds uniformly. There are several options from fine to coarse. Also have the option of how many cups that you want to grind. Coffee always tastes better freshly ground. And this does a great job. There is no static, the coffee grinds come out of the reservoir very easily into the coffee pot filter. Very simple to use. Not terribly loud. Sounds like a kitchen grinder.I have been using this grinder every day, sometimes twice a day, and have had no issues with it. Hopefully it will be around for years to come. In love with this grinder.

Best coffee grinder I’ve owned
I purchased this grinder based on other reviews, but also because it appeared that it’s design and appearance was a copy of other more expensive and well-known branded grinders. It appears I guessed right. This grinder produces consistent and uniform grounds and is much less noisy and messy than others I’ve owned. Let’s face it. Some grounds will escape or get stuck in the machine. But this was does a great job of containing them. One thing that worried me when I first used it. When I turned it on, the initial surge popped the electrical breaker. But apparently it was just a matter of breaking in the motor and after a few more pops, this problem has resolved itself. I will update this review if the problem recurs.I notice that some of this grinder’s reviews discuss the timer/per cup dial settings. I ignore that and premeasure and grind enough beans for each cup. So not an issue for me.All in all, I think this burr grinder is a Best Buy. Though the price has inched up a bit, it is still a good $30-40 less than other comparable burr grinders.

Reliable for light daily use
I do not regret the purchase, but would like to mention a few first-world problems:- In dry air, the static electricity of the plastic causes the coffee ground to be dispersed into the vicinity of the grinder.- I would have appreciate a little more tolerance towards the "coarse" setting as I use a French press, and a lot of powder ends up in my cup.No deal breakers for me, but something to consider if you are about to buy one.

It works but is more of a pain than it is worth. Update: It started smoking and died
Update: Well it started smoking today and is now completely dead. I took a chance on this thing and it was a waste of money.First off it works. It grinds coffee and that is what you want it to do BUT. The amount it grinds does not change no matter where you turn the nob. Want enough to make 4 cups? Cool it will still grind the same amount that it did when you wanted 6 or 12 cups. This problem though can be solved by just pushing grind twice in a row (or three times depending how much you want), that's not the worst part though. It will start grinding the coffee even when the catcher for the grounds is not fully in place. You think it is locked in because it looks like it is but it will vibrate out as it grinds, shooting ground coffee all over the counter. This could be fixed by making sure the catcher cup is locked into place but lets be honest, its before I have had a cup of coffee I am not going to think about that and it really shouldn't need pushed in as hard as it does..There are a few other things that bother me about it but really do not matter as much as the first two. The catcher cup is pretty hard to get out of the grinder when it is locked in properly and the hopper does not hold as many beans as some of the other grinders I have had. I guess this one works and if you are OK with all of the above mentioned by all means buy it, its pretty cheap for a grinder. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere though.

great value
I was a little worried about getting this. I only use it to grind decaf beans but it does a good job and very quickly.

Great coffee grinder for the price.
I had a Cuisineart burr grinder before this one. This new grinder does a better job at grinding and I like the lever that allows you to adjust the grain size vs. my old grinders top that twisted. The only thing I don’t like is that the opening for the grinds to go into the container is on the top. Each time you pull the container out some of the ground coffee falls into the area where the container was. So each time you grind you have to clean out the chamber. My other grinder had a hole in the back of the container so that when it was pulled out, grinds didn’t fall in the chamber. The only advantage of this is that it makes me clean the grinder more often. Other than that it’s a great product.

Disappointed Because…
At first this grinder had me excited because of the amazing lack of sound that makes one grinding. it really is one of the quietest grinders that I’ve seen in a long time if not ever. The hopper is a little smaller than what I’m used to but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. The basket for the ground coffee beans is extremely difficult to remove from the unit to the point where it left grooves in my fingers when trying to pull it out. even that is not a dealbreaker because I figure maybe once it’s broken in it’ll become a looser basket. For me, the main disappointment comes from the lack of consistency with the volume of the grind. Each time is something a little bit different. this morning 6 cups ended up being twice as much as 12 cups. Yesterday 12 cups was perfect today it was more like the equivalent of 3 cups. The first time this happened a few days ago I thought that maybe it was because I ran out of beans. Unfortunately, this grinder is just very inconsistent with knowing exactly when to stop grinding, or even generally when to stop grinding. It really is disappointing, because I really enjoyed how quiet is thing was, and how easy to use with the exception of the removal of the basket.

Very good grinder for the price.
This grinder is probably the best bang for your buck. The espresso setting for the grinder produces a very nice fine grind. The top down design makes it practical to use. Plus, the canister which the fresh grind deposits into doubles as a storage container after you’ve ground your beans.
