My 9 year old grandson and 5 year old granddaughter are enjoying all of the stories!!!

My family loves this book. My husband and I read it to our six year-old daughter every night who just mentioned loving this book, “Because it can teach you how to deal with different things, such as bullying.”I bought a couple more books to give to my daughter’s little friends.

My 10 year old reads this book all of the time and it never gets old . She like the positive things that she reads and likes to see that she relates to some of the others even though they aren’t always happy. Great find !!

Very cute book. Inspiring and inspirational for kids who face tough every day life situations. My son is 10 and is enjoying reading it. He tells me all about the obstacles the kids on the book have faced and how they conquered it. In a world of technology, this book is breath of fresh air for both parents and kids. Highly recommend.

I loved the idea of getting this book for my child who I want to teach about how to be positive and grow resilience. However, many of these stories have topics or endings that are way too old and intense for younger children. The stories I have read thus far are extreme examples of hardships and mean children. I think this might be better for 14-18 year olds. My daughter likes the book and the stories, but we have to do a lot of on-the-spot editing (she doesn't yet read). I think she's most interested because she doesn't yet know that kids can be as mean as the kids in the book. I will be looking for a different book with similar lessons, more age appropriate and hiding this one until she is much older! And even then, I'm not sure I'll bring it back out. It seems like it could use an update, for the year 2020, as well.

Heartwarming stories that make you feel positive and eager to make a great impression on the world. Gives a real perspective of life and helps open your eyes up to what is really important in life.

Book was in great shape, My son will love it, I'm sure. I read these books as a child and now, so will mine.

After reading through a few stories with my smaller children, I am very happy to say, they are finding the inherent lessons in each story to be moving. Having children going through difficult times with peer groups, emotions and self esteem, I feel this book gives them solid tools and strategies to deal with events in their own lives. We can explore these topics in the safety of our home. Great for any young family as a way to bond further together.

I find books made up of 'real stories' rather tiresome but my 9YO daughter got something out of this book, and that was the intention. Good for dipping in and out.

Gift to my grandaughter so she will be reading it with her mum for their easter vacation.
