Pharmacy case studies

I like this book- its very helpful in real life situations
There are not many books around based on pharmacy case studies. In fact I think there are only 2 worth considering, this one and another written by Dodds. I think Dodds's book is more tailored to the hospital setting (hence "Clinical" appears in title). So for the community setting this book is a good resource to have- it aids MURs, NMS, patient queries, GP queries. In regards to GP queries- I had one such query and with the help of this book I was able to make a good suggestion to the GP. I also found this book handy for a CPPE focal point, which I booked at the last minute- hence little time to prepare for the focal point, but with this book (and to be frank I also resorted to Dodds's clinical case studies) I was able to perform well at the focal point. If you have got spare time or CPD time- this is worth a look.

This book is a great source of study for who wants to move forward. Every 5 cases for every big title of situation are set wisely and the balance is successful in the terms of mass of information. From patient profiles to laboratory date and lifestyle information, you feel refreshed and updated about your profession. I advice this publishing for every age of pharmacist, surely.
