I have purchased two packages of this rice for food storage and have vacuum sealed most of it in canning jars for future use. I have cooked up two batches and it comes out beautifully using a ratio of 1:1.5 rice to water. The taste and texture are very good. I will purchase this again in the future.

Very flavorful and wonderful aroma. This rice is from the Northern region of India which is important to me as that region as well as Pakistan have the lowest Arsenic levels. I actually bought this with no reviews, (which I never do) because they are one of the few sellers that state the rice is grown in the north of India. The packaging is also important to me. The outer bag is a strong plastic and the inner bag is a vacuum packed bag. The rice is very fresh with a very good exp. date.

Basmati rice is one of my go to's every week, so this is a really nice option for a bulk size bag. The taste and texture was pretty much just as expected. I really like that this is an organic option, so it makes the price point make a little more sense for the value.

This rice is delicious! It's packed well in a package that is shrink wrapped, so it stayed fresh and tasted fresh. You will want another container to put it in once opened as it is not resealable. The price is a tad high but not crazy for an online organic rice. It's easy to open (you will want scissors) and the quality is good.Overall, I would recommend this product.

I love this rice. It has a bit more snap to it than jasmine rice. Not chewy, but a little more full bodied.

If your meal calls for a basmati rice, this is the one. Comes in an air-sealed "brick" that loosens upon opening. The outer bag is resealable for easy storage in the pantry. I made it following the instructions on the product listing page (there are no instructions on the bag). It turned out perfect. Boil water, 2 cups rice, 3 cups water, simmer for approx 12 minutes. It turned out fluffy and I added a little butter and seasoned to my liking. That was easily enough for 4 large servings.
